- In this 6th presentation of a 12-part series titled "Hawaiian Kingdom History: The Kingdom, the Church, the Land", Dr. Ron Williams Jr. shares about the sons of the missionaries that came to Hawai‘i and the shaping of a new "mission" (1863-1888).

About the presenter:
Dr. Ronald Williams Jr. holds a doctorate in history from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with a specialization in Hawaiʻi and Native-language resources. He is a former faculty member of the Hawaiʻinuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge, UH Mānoa and in 2017 was the founding director of the school’s Lāhui Hawaiʻi Research Center. Dr. Williams is also a past president of the 128-year old Hawaiian Historical Society. He currently works as an archivist at the Hawaiʻi State Archives and serves as Hoʻopaʻa Kūʻauhau (Historian) for the grassroots political organization Ka ʻAhahui Hawaiʻi Aloha ʻĀina. Dr. Williams was a contributing author to the 2019 Samuel Manaiākalani Kamakau Book of the Year award-winning publication, Hoʻoulu Hawaiʻi: The Kalākaua Era. He has published in a wide variety of academic and public history venues including the Oxford Encyclopedia of Religion in America, the Hawaiian Journal of History, and Hana Hou! Magazine.

In the opening Pule, by Kahu Bryan Welsh, he asks of the Lord, for wisdom, a spirit of discernment for Truth, favor, and Aloha/Love! In John 14:15, our Lord and Saviour, IESU KRISTO, says, "If you love Me, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS!" This particularly applies to those who "profess" to love Jesus! This Aloha MUST be expressed in Spirit and in Truth; in thought, word, and deed, by KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS! All 10 of them! If we expect our Lord to answer our prayers, we MUST comply with His conditions. Which is the keeping of His Commandments! Otherwise it is presumptuous to expect His cooperation in our endeavors! Let us examine ourselves! Are we in compliance? If not - we may now have the answer to WHY - after 128+ years, we are still going in circles in this "Wilderness" of Sin! I have more to say in this issue, but for now, I ask for your mana'o on what I have posted here.

I think Jesus May have been warning the whole world when he said “ behold they will come to you in my name like wolves in sheep’s clothing ( the clothing in this case being the sincere believers) and the wolves being the Christians. The prophetic parallel between, what Queen Liliu'okalani called the incident at Naboth's Vineyard - 1 Kings 21:1-23, and the Lord's Vineyard - Matthew 21:33-44, which is in typology the Hawai'ian Kingdom; and Ahab and Jezebel, and the United States in cahoots with those wicked men who overthrew the Hawai'ian Kingdom, is a warning to the government leaders in America and the "state" of Hawai'i, after 131 years of merciful patience and warnings, that this last effort through the agency the Lord has set up, the Acting Council of Regency, if they do not repent and make things PONO, AMERICA WILL BE DESTROYED! There are only 2 choices, Repent and Live, or remain in your rebellion and Perish!

I'm also a licensed Reverend with the State of Hawaii. I like the extra Hawaiian words as I see even my Catholic church singing in Hawaiian too. I think as Hawaii, it's a good type of public relations if we can leave our visitors a little bit of culture to remember us as I enjoyed the service in French in France as a tourist. Aloha, the most important relationship you must have is to be "Born Again" into the eternal Kingdom of God. All of our righteousnesses (things like flesh and blood credentials mean nothing, my sister! They will perish when you die.) Please learn the Truth that will set you free from this world, which is passing away before our very eyes! All those who are born again are children of the King of kings! My sister, in 1 Peter chapter 2, verse 9, calls those who are born again a ROYAL Priesthood! I would love to see you in the eternal Kingdom of God, where we are all kings and queens under the King of kings. Would you like to be there with me?
