This video sold me on the Blackstar I was debating between the two and like the sound of the Blackstar more. I guess I should’ve figured though cause I had a 6505 combo amp I hated the tone on lol

I love the dang 6505+. So does using an attenuator help with getting the EQ to open up but still keep it a bedroom volume?

Ok at first I thought this is an unfair comparison to be honest considering 6505+ is highly regarded as on of the best metal amps. Yet Blackstar amps are very versatile but also underrated. Lots of all-tube purist out there spreading the hate towards the brand is just crazy🤣

I don't. The S-1 and Artisan Series are the Higher End of Blackstar. No one where I am stocks them, only the HT Series. I really think if they stocked the Artisan or S-1 then they would sell more haha. Cheers -Ryan

6505+ is vastly superior, the blackstar is shrill and sounds muffled and thin
