Boy meets world spoke about a lot of issues that are not "allowed" on Disney's Girl Meets World today. In their middle school seasons, they were already talking about sex. The guys dressed up as girls in some episodes, that also wouldn't happen today because it might be offensive. Disney just won't allow a lot of things now. Times have changed. Boy Meets World will always be more raw and real.
Well the actor who plays Eric is the one who made him like that. Most of the script was improv a lot of the time. They usually just gave Eric a prop and said go at it
Topanga was raised in a way to not fully understand what the meaning is behind the flag. I like that episode because Cory links it to respecting his father. Not doing the Pledge of Allegiance is not respecting those who fought so very hard to give you the freedom you have now. It's a really great episode.

Always hated how Mr. Turner just kinda disappeared from the show. I liked his dynamic with Shawn and Corey. It was probably a contract dispute, but I liked his character.
I love the scenes which have Shawn and Eric together in the same scene. But there are very few scenes like that in the series, and i thought perhaps they dont really like eachother off camera. But the producers said that they hardly ever put them in a scene together bc every time they did, they just kept cracking eachother up and could hardly get through an entire scene :) i think thats just so cool. I miss this show!!!
The reason why GMW won't be even close to what BMW was is because BMW originally was aired on ABC family. A network which has no problem with shows addressing real life issues like sex, drugs, broken families etc. Disney on the other hand likes to avoid certain subjects to "protect" their viewers mind/innocence. When I first saw that this video was 2 hours and 15 min long, I thought it was way too long. Now that I sat through the whole thing, I feel like they could have included so much more... God, I miss this show.
You know what’s funny to me is two pronged first Shawn and Cory are so close that they practically are married which I think is the point of the joke but the second part that this scene couldn’t have predicted is that after Cory and Topanga are married and in the Girl Meets World season one holiday episode Shawn comes back Topanga says hi to Shawn by saying “Hey,Mr.Cory” and he returns the greeting with “Hey,Mrs.Cory.”, so while it was a joking exchange this scene basically predicts the future.
Although joke aside I’m not sure if that comment is more insulting to Cory or Shawn,even if it was definitely not meant to be offensive and Shawn definitely knew that it could be taken badly out of context.

It doesn't matter how many years pass this is still one of my favorite series. 39:12 was my favorite scene from that episode "CHECK!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WILL SOMEONE PLEASE BRING ME A CHECK." Eric is a legend.
While I agree that they are among the greatest tv friendships I'd like to call attention to J.D. & Turk from Scrubs as well as Shawn & Gus from Psych. Those friendships are inarguably great with noticeably great chemistry between the actors. Not to mention that Zach Braff & Donald Faison became actual, real life best friends because of Scrubs.
One of the most iconic ending lines, "I love you all, class dismissed." This show really helped me learn to respect my teachers/professors/mentors. I know there was drama behind the scenes but I really do enjoy, and always will, this show.

I never liked how Eric became dumber with every passing season. He's funny alright, but his absentmindedness, clumsiness and overall lack of intelligence often reached the point of absurdity as he got older. I remember an episode (in season 2 I think?) where he tried his best to pass a history test but his tutor didn't believe he could do it, instantly assuming that he would be a terrible student because of his good looks. It's really sad to see that, in the end, that tutor was kinda right all along.

Jessica Apps I love all the moments between him and Turner but one of my favorite ones is from “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” when he is describing Cory and Shawn’s relationship “You see this guy,this is your best relationship you trust eachother and you really listen to eachother.” It shows how truly observant John was of his students but especially of what was going on in Shawn’s life.
If both Eric and Feeny are in season 2, maybe we'll get the Feeny Call. Loved the Feeny Call by Eric and of course Feeny's reactions which were priceless.
thestar2471 I'd prefer the real Eric. Which is fortunate, as it's confirmed that Eric, Feeny, and Shawn will all have prominent roles in Season 2. Along with another BMW alum that hasn't been revealed yet. GMW definitely needs them. I have no qualms against Riley. Cory and Topanga are still great, and Auggie can be likeable. But oh my word... I want to take a flamethrower to Farkle, Lucas and Ava.

Those friendships are inarguably great with noticeably great chemistry between the actors. Not to mention that Zach Braff & Donald Faison became actual, real life best friends because of Scrubs.

I never liked how Eric became dumber with every passing season. He's funny alright, but his absentmindedness, clumsiness and overall lack of intelligence often reached the point of absurdity as he got older. I remember an episode (in season 2 I think?) where he tried his best to pass a history test but his tutor didn't believe he could do it, instantly assuming that he would be a terrible student because of his good looks. It's really sad to see that, in the end, that tutor was kinda right all along.
