This is a really good question... but you are going in the correct path Rafy A, I also follow your job around here.. thanks for share you both your knowleadges
Incredible. Beautiful. I don't do photography, and I have never worked with photoshop, and I never realized what can go into it. I have a new appreciation for photoshop now. wow.
not only is the end result and all the editing incredible, but the way you have shot and edited this video is beautiful and I was mesmerised for the whole 6 minutes nearly.
So talented and amazing work, I like so much the way you made the video, it remembered me of the ''arrow" tv show and of course the photo result its very very good, the way you use all this resources to get such result, thank you so much for sharing.
+Erik Johansson what do you mean you dont know "much" about video editing, every scene i was like how in the world did he make that blend. Awesome video Erik.
I like the picture a lot, except the crack in the sky which looks kinda weird and is "too much" in my opinion. When I took the first look at the edit itself, I thought the mirror-theme fades when the view of whoever looks at the picture goes deeper into the scene and into the lake, or into the "reality". The crack in the sky destroys this illusion for me, while looking a bit unrealistic as well. The rest is quite perfect though, you did a really good job on this. The video however partly blew my mind, all those creative transitions and the professional, clean, yet not boring editing makes it even more interesting to watch, even if you are not interested in making-offs. 1:42 was simply perfect. I don't think you "don't really know much about video editing" :D
the video too needs behind the scenes. good job. i read the lake breaking as mirror, i humbly ask Erik, Please what is the artwork talking about, what is it communication(the story and idea behind). Thanks
Amazing! You are probably one of the most talented retouchers out there. However: I just wish you dropped the crack in the sky, which I don´t think is adding to the illusion of the water turning in to glass. It´s like a separate illusion that is only confusing. I also wish you would have kept those beautiful blue and green colors rather than making it so desaturated and grey. You put so much work into this picture, and these two things would take you less than two minutes to fix, and the picture would be even better!
This behind the scenes video needs a behind the scenes video.
Agreed, very nice job , really impressed
+Ali Bedar and behind the scenes video a behind the scenes video needs a behind the scenes video
+Ali Bedar bahahahaha
+Ali Bedar haha +1

Magnificent. But my question, did you eat the fish? ;-)
Dude!! These transitions and cuts in the video were amazing. And the work you did with the compositing. WOW. I don't even have the words...
what goes on inside your brain? I love you so much Erik
This is a really good question... but you are going in the correct path Rafy A, I also follow your job around here.. thanks for share you both your knowleadges

The crack in the sky destroyed the great idea of the mirrors fading ino the water for me too.
+anotherno0name Yeah, great idea and the implementation but why the crack in the sky? It destroys the illusion!
And the video is very creative too!
+anotherno0name I agree
