Because 335i are more fun 🤣 less reliable tho ,i have had mine for 6 years headache after headache ut i still love it 😍
@@n54addictmotorsports lmao now wait a minute ive discovered it actually depends on the mileage from my personal experience. I have a s65 m3 and an n54 335i, the s65 in the m3 has less issues under 100k, where the n54 had smaller issues that added up. now past the 100k mark, the n54 has been way more manageable than the s65 i should have just flat out replaced the entire engine over the repairs I have undergone. been nothing but a major repair headache.
Anthony Wright you are right ,the n54 is way easier and cheaper if you compare to the m3 to maintain,straight six motors are relatively easy to work on and way cheaper to maintain,and also since you can make so much power with the n54 easy and cheap for me it’s just a great platform i love it !!!

I have a 2011 335d M-Sport in Space Gray. I have it lowered in Eibachs with M3 Control arms. It is about a low as a Corvette Z06. I love the wide body aggressive look this car has, but since it is my daily driver I wouldn't want to have to cope with problems with k-turns as you described. I'm wondering if there is a better way that doesn't screw up the turning radius.

Planning to buy an e90 335i, should I get the 2010 n54 or the 2011 n55? I would like to get it tuned to like 400-500hp and be decently reliable where I don't want to meet problems every 50k miles. Appreciate any help
I owned both. Both N54 and N55 are great. N54 tends to have a little more issues but if you tackle the preventive maintenance you will be set. You will always hear that N54 will produce more power with the same amount of mods. N55 are just a little more reliable. Hope that helps.

@@luiscruz317 also one more thing, if I do get the n54, how should I do the maintenance? Should I just get a regular inspection or get my whole engine inspected. I don't want to spend a fortune on maintenance but I also don't want problems down the future
Take it to a shop and have them check the car. The N54 is notorious for Fuel Injectors going bad, oil pan gasket leaks and turbo wastegate rattle. HPFP also goes bad. These are a plus if you are planning on making more power. There are a few other things but my best advice is to read thru the forums and pages to learn about these engines. Both are not complicated. N54tech is a great source. Hopefully you find one that the major issues were addressed. Good luck.
@@luiscruz317 yeah i notice most of these problems from the bimmer forums, and many are diy, but is there any problems that needs a mechanic shop to fix? That will lead to my result whether I would buy the n54 or not
