Guys, this is NOT „Greeny“! This is a regular Les Paul. He plays „Greeny“ for instance in „The Messiah will come again“ in a performance of the same year, which is 1990 btw!
No that’s another ‘59 known as Stripe. It doesn’t have metal pickup covers like Greeny. Stripe was Gary’s main guitar in the early 90s when he released his first blues albums. Post Thin Lizzy, Greeny was typically only pulled out for “Parisienne Walkways” which admittedly was played at virtually every gig Gary did.
