I won’t have sunbathers on my new permissions as they’re not plowed. Although since finding my Henry III Voided long cross “hoard” (9 coins so far), he’s saying he might plow it next year for me 😄. Awesome hammered buddy! Nice find.
I recon it is mate, its hard to look at lead and imagine it being anything more than just lead sometimes but it was used for so many things back in those times, it all served a purpose.
Nice video mate love the hammered coin like me love finding them my favs hope to get out tomorrow as not been out for weeks fingers crossed all the best shaune in Kent 👍

The Keyway object isn't a sock holder, they would be formed of wire. Its a "keyway" type hanger for a picture frame, or mirror. They are still used on modern frames. If you check in your house you will have frames with them on. They slip over the screw or nail head and then slide down to secure the frame to the wall. Hope that helps. Love the videos by the way 👍👍
Boom let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
Lovely stuff! The ‘keyhole’ bit was also used on womens corsets as well as men’s suspenders.
I find quite a few of these, they always used to catch me out thinking they were modern junk.
Good variety of finds like you said great weather good finds what a wonderful day
Thanks for watching John, seems like summer is finally here!
Great finds, stunning hammered!! Love the small buckle too :-)
George II faces left. I and III face right. We love British coppers here, they’re common for you 😊
They always catch me out! 😊

10:58. It is a Bulls nose ring, I have a copper one. Is that copper?
Nose rings split in half, so that the ring can be passed through the nostrils.
