- I turned my raycasting project into a little horror game. I used C++ and SFML.

Great stuff man
I absolutely love this channel. The programming, the presentation, the humor - everything!
Very underrated channel good stuff Kofy
Bro, I gotta tell my college colleagues to subscribe to this guy... He literally gave me my inspiration to enter into graphics & games...
This is a very respectable & appreciable person who teaches everything from the scratch...
thanks for everything...🫂❤️🔥💯🫡
This was awesome! More!! :D
I haven't understood anything but I agree with the entire video. By the way, great video, I loved it!
4:09 this is called Thales' theorem :)
btw im glad you made part 2!!
When I searched for it, people kept calling it "Angle angle theorem" so I assumed that's its name. Thales sounds a lot better btw :)
Love the video btw 12:43 I agree as a programmer this is scary stuff here
Maybe we should make a programmer horror game! With lot of error messages like this and segfault and overflows, memory leak and etc... I'm already getting scared!
Dude, this is awesome! Much better than my own attempt at SFML raycasting. I still haven't figured out how to change the camera angle
this is terribly intresting thank you :D
Fun video! I appreciate the the little animations, sound, and music throughout keeping me engaged while you speak programmer to me!
Thats a great video! Loved watching it!
It's me on the top right side corner:))
9:20
Please continue this series, we want moreee
AAYYYYOOOOO
The return of the king👑
"ah-ha... I have no idea what i'm doing" That one hit close to home
Actually funny dev log video, awesome presentation, art, humor, everything.
For part 3 we will have to wait until 2025? Fine
I'd say I can't wait for part 3, but we all will wait for it.
your getting good at pixel art
and when the world needed him most, he returned.
To be fair matrices make simple arithmetics even simpler (once you understand it).
I'm definitely not just watching this because I want to understand the graphics and I'm DEFINITELY NOT only PRETENDING to understand the math behind it (Aaaah, he's using a cosine... of course...)
I mean, most of the math I get, but how the FRICKAFLIP did he get the answer to the problem at 2:20
Nicely done!
You should keep update this series! very fascination.
I love the pace of fhese videos! And the math too 😁
Amazing stuff once again! I've always find your videos super interesting and entertaining :) Thank you for your work ! (I hope to see the beefy player in future videos)
Your mastery of angles is awe inspiring!
Sources is awesome :)
Bro returned
Looks great!
steven's jumpscare is good
Awesome video !
is this the actually funny c++ dev
awesome
This was awesome, great job on the updates!
Waiting for part 3.
Ur videos are 😎❤ can u make some sfml step by step tutorials
this man is gonna outgrow dani at this pace
You should incorporate coffee pickups to give your player health.
pretty awesome as always !!
IM EARLY :0
i might watch this later!
I guess you have to learn matrix too, and then teach us in the next vid 🥺
good video
10:20 I snapped my fingers here.
I'm too lazy to draw fingers so use your imagination.
Dude your videos are amazing but can you make a video where you explain all the code and what tools are using comprehensively! Like that would be really great if you can!
love these videos!!
Can't wait for part 3
3:47 Short Kings unite 😎💪
WOW!
10:20 I snapped My fingers here. I'm too lazy to draw fingers so use your imagination.
5:11 you have to get NVIDIA graphics card.
Noice vid
phew, luckily i only understand + - * / sin cos tan
the code looks scary for me more than the game itself 🤣
and he was never seen again
Steven killed him... Maybe
WOW FINALLY
Hello, I really liked your video but you know, I have seen a lot of people teaching programming, and the truth is that they are very boring. So I thought: why don't they make a video game that teaches you how to program? Imagine a scenario where your character poses as a novice programmer and gets a job at a beginner's website, after spending all of his savings on a lesson given to him by a programmer friend. The game would consist of solving repetitive programming problems in exchange for money to pay for your friend's next lesson, so you can solve more problems and earn more money. With this, the player would be constantly practicing, which would make programming lessons stick more easily in their mind, since they learn faster with repetition. Could you do something like that?
Thank you very much and may you always do well

I'm new to video game development, I wanted to know why you use visual studio instead of other editors such as vscode. Is there a specific reason related to video game development or is it personal taste?
It's mostly personal taste. I tried using CodeBlocks but I didn't like it.
@@Kofybrek and what do you think about vscode? Is good for this?
@@andreabelli5537 it depends on your work too, if you are using a more demanding engine use vs community because it provides a developer environment aka IDE whereas vscode is much like a text editor made to do lighter tasks, also memory management and code optimization become easy with vscommunity(4yrs of development experience)
Now put some shaders to make it look like a low quality video recording
holy hell
meanwhile i still cant make an actually functional raycaster
Can you please make a video when you make a game in unreal engine?
I like how much progress you made with SFML and how many interesting projects you made with it.. but deep down I feel like I really wanna see some tutorials on other libraries like SDL2 and GLFW even tho they are so bare bones compared to SFML
I was thinking about learning OpenGL...
Do part 3!!!
Well, you have succesfully recreated Wolfenstein, but can you re-create Doom? (:`,
Ayo bro whats that background music playing I know it's from TH-cam audio library but can you tell me the name of it.
I'll try finding it for you but I downloaded it a long time ago so I don't remember its name. Have you tried using Shazam?
@@Kofybrek oh I never thought about using shasam.
Amazing video by the way 👏
Kofybrek what painting program do you use
yea, probably soon.........................∞
Lol!
*angle*
i just wanna know where did you get those texters
when is part 3?
you should call these videos dev logs and not a tutorial makes it seem misleading for the people actually looking for tutorials and not dev logs
I looked for an SFML tutorial some time ago and stumbled upon this guy. I looked at some of his videos and learnt an extreme amount and it gave me a kick start to make a game that let me pass with top grades on many "own programming project" tests. I am extremely thankful that he put in tutorial cuz if he didn't I'd be stuck and get bad grades
exactly, even if it isn’t a full tutorial, you can still learn a lot
This is fairly easy to follow. If you're not understanding, you either need to learn SFML, or C++.
to be honest with you; i just got here for fun but yeah, i agree
Honestly, I add tutorial for SEO. But you're probably right.
Ok
I got the term wrong in the community tab. 💀☠️💀☠️
yikes~
Part 3?
Maybe I'll release it someday.
i think the hand movement is too wobbly
We can always change it.

Where do you write and run your code?
