Fortunately Cast and Showrunners in 2024 still want to come back. Tom Ellis said recently that he wants to come back, but not as a S7. He would come back as a supporting actor in a spin-off, in the New DCU, or as the main actor in movies. They said they finished the show in S6 because they wanted to write an ending of this era, and because they didn't want to take risks to get cancelled again without an ending (even if Netflix wanted more seasons).

A prequel with Lucifer and Maze explaining their relationship, Maze leaving hell too, the vow she took , the change due to Lucifer's change, and their bodies: were they just "flesh sacks" like his moms or did Maze possess some body -dead or aliveor did they create or grow one or? Maybe throw in some time travel to get Chloe in. But all of this only with the original actors!

I would love...love to see a continuous of Luciver! But a film would be good too...can't get enough of all the players in Luciver! Each caricature has a viable storyline of their own! Put them back together and you have a recipe for a very successful series!

I spent the past couple weeks binging the series and just watched the final episode the other day and loved the last season and the final episode was beautiful!
I come from the Future to say that there are rumours about the showrunners started the brainstorming of the movie with the original cast, and when everything is ready, they will reunite with Netflix. I prefer a new series, but several movies are cool too (if it is the only option). The showrunners always wanted to come back somehow, so I hope they can. I would like to know more of the new generations and other secondary characters we met in the original show, but, like I said, if movies are the only option, then it is better than nothing. I know they said they wanted to ending the show in S6, but, like they said, it is the ending of a big arc and of a big era, but a new era started.

Would think a reboot, using the alternate reality from season 3 would be better in it's own way, and maybe have it follow more to the comics with lucifer having his full light-bringer abilities, would open things up for new story line, since the the old one was closed and Chloe could still be an interest ( and whole remove the she bloody nearly poisons him :P).

It would be so easy to bring a season 7 back. Just open up the new series as if was just a dream one of them had. It was a terrible ending. How do you bring a daughter into the picture and not tell the story? Time travel really!

There are few questions I would like to add that might be possible to answer or can be used for 7th season 1) Lucifer loosing control in hell when went to hell to help jimmy barnes with chloe because it wasn't explained in the series why the hell is moving and why lucifer lost control and gain back because if it was occured due to rory that can't be the case as rory was in lucifer house when lucifer when to hell with chloe 2) Why Michael is still in hell as we know lucifer gave him another chance 3) What about the broken system as we know that in season 3 last episode pierce did say that he is going to heaven as he is not guilty of anything inspite of the fact that he does so many crimes to lift his curse but as we know he did kill charleotte which he felt guilty 4) Which I think everybody want to know why trixie isn't there at chloe's death bed which might be the case that trixie discover the truth about lucifer and rory which we can discover more about the sister's relationship in the show other possible things the show can explore or can use 1) They show the amenadiel taking chloe home but amenadiel wasn't with her in hell when chloe meet lucifer 2) Use trixie for the show emotional protagonist as trixie. 3) They can show linda as god consultant as we seen her urge to interfere in celestial matters when it was the relationship of maze and eve 4) What charlie is doing as grown ups 5) What is maze doing because we know that maze is demon and eve is mortal as eve dies what does maze does may be she can be use again in celestial betrayal matters. 6) What does adam discovers as he came down to earth to learn to respect woman because what is his role in all this if used for a single episode
No, no, no, can’t be a prequel. It has to be about the relationship between Chloe and Lucifer. If there was to be another season it would have to be between when Lucifer leaves and before Chloe dies. I would love to see a spin-off featuring Maze centering around her continued relationships after the series finale and her quest for a soul (or journey of building a soul?) That idea could bring back most of the original characters from the series as supporting cast. If I couldn’t get that, then I would try to get Neil Gaiman to join the staff for a prequel. There is a lot of story potential for a prequel series, but it would probably mean recasting a lot of the characters for age so this wouldn’t be my first choice. As for a hi-camp Lucifer movie a la Airplane?! Though the concept might have worked for an episode of the show, I think it’s too much for an entire movie based on this series and would “jump the shark”, so, for me, it’s a no go 🙅♀️

Maybe for season 7, now that Chloe has pretty much passed on and all the cop drama is over, maybe we can see like Lucifer be more like the comic version of himself and be like more powerful and actually fight an evil god like the evil presence as in the comics.

Spin off. God's child and the devil's child :) Amenadiel is God now so he can make Chloe a celestial or at least give her the power to return to Earth with Lucifer. Then Lucifer can be the father Rory missed. We were told in 6 that Rory and Charlie have a sibling rivalry. Some kind of reunion involving both sets of parents If Chloe can come back then so can Linda. After Rory time travels of course. Opening episodes, Rory and Charlie misbehaving. Amenadiel and Linda intervening. Leading up to Rory's return after her time travels. She did say Lucifer's absence was only blimp in their eternal life, so that's left open. So we have Maze and Eve bounty hunting. The young Rory and Charlie join in and almost expose divinity. Throw in a healthy dose of conspiracy theories. The Government is creating bird people :o Some clueless Angels trying to fit in at Lux. I think we could get a season 7. Come on folks lets have some ideas up here. Maybe they'll like them and run with it. Chloe can come back as her cousin's daughter and Lucifer can be Sam Mael who is named as the new Charlie can be the new owner of Lux. Conclude with an all smiles family reunion.
I love Lucyfer, but I think that 7 session would be too much. 6th season wasn't so good as a previous seasons. I was waiting for him to marry Chloe and was disappointed. On the top of that he is aging.
An end would be easy truth! The movies last should be 3 6s. God destroys them all in individual fire holes where it's made apparent they scream and suffer for an eternity. Not fictional ending but the real way it will happen.

1) Lucifer loosing control in hell when went to hell to help jimmy barnes with chloe because it wasn't explained in the series why the hell is moving and why lucifer lost control and gain back because if it was occured due to rory that can't be the case as rory was in lucifer house when lucifer when to hell with chloe
2) Why Michael is still in hell as we know lucifer gave him another chance
3) What about the broken system as we know that in season 3 last episode pierce did say that he is going to heaven as he is not guilty of anything inspite of the fact that he does so many crimes to lift his curse but as we know he did kill charleotte which he felt guilty
4) Which I think everybody want to know why trixie isn't there at chloe's death bed which might be the case that trixie discover the truth about lucifer and rory which we can discover more about the sister's relationship in the show
other possible things the show can explore or can use
1) They show the amenadiel taking chloe home but amenadiel wasn't with her in hell when chloe meet lucifer
2) Use trixie for the show emotional protagonist as trixie.
3) They can show linda as god consultant as we seen her urge to interfere in celestial matters when it was the relationship of maze and eve
4) What charlie is doing as grown ups
5) What is maze doing because we know that maze is demon and eve is mortal as eve dies what does maze does may be she can be use again in celestial betrayal matters.
6) What does adam discovers as he came down to earth to learn to respect woman because what is his role in all this if used for a single episode
No, no, no, can’t be a prequel. It has to be about the relationship between Chloe and Lucifer. If there was to be another season it would have to be between when Lucifer leaves and before Chloe dies. Lucifer should come back to spend time with Chloe and the girls.

I would love to see a spin-off featuring Maze centering around her continued relationships after the series finale and her quest for a soul (or journey of building a soul?) That idea could bring back most of the original characters from the series as supporting cast.
If I couldn’t get that, then I would try to get Neil Gaiman to join the staff for a prequel. There is a lot of story potential for a prequel series, but it would probably mean recasting a lot of the characters for age so this wouldn’t be my first choice.
As for a hi-camp Lucifer movie a la Airplane?! Though the concept might have worked for an episode of the show, I think it’s too much for an entire movie based on this series and would “jump the shark”, so, for me, it’s a no go 🙅♀️

Spin off. God's child and the devil's child :) Amenadiel is God now so he can make Chloe a celestial or at least give her the power to return to Earth with Lucifer. Then Lucifer can be the father Rory missed. We were told in 6 that Rory and Charlie have a sibling rivalry. Some kind of reunion involving both sets of parents If Chloe can come back then so can Linda. After Rory time travels of course. Opening episodes, Rory and Charlie misbehaving. Amenadiel and Linda intervening. Leading up to Rory's return after her time travels. She did say Lucifer's absence was only blimp in their eternal life, so that's left open. So we have Maze and Eve bounty hunting. The young Rory and Charlie join in and almost expose divinity. Throw in a healthy dose of conspiracy theories. The Government is creating bird people :o Some clueless Angels trying to fit in at Lux. I think we could get a season 7. Come on folks lets have some ideas up here. Maybe they'll like them and run with it. Chloe can come back as her cousin's daughter and Lucifer can be Sam Mael who is named as the new Charlie can be the new owner of Lux. Conclude with an all smiles family reunion.
I love Lucyfer, but I think that 7 session would be too much. 6th season wasn't so good as a previous seasons. I was waiting for him to marry Chloe and was disappointed. On the top of that he is aging.
