So foolish and so human. One thing I really love is that in this production the "soliloquy" is public, which underscores his "regal narcissism" -- and foolishness. Have listened to others' versions, but Paula truly brings it to life. It doesn't get any better than this. Too bad more people aren't watching this gem.

I certainly can't. He's so clueless and sweet. Brava Paula! You are my all time favorite mezzo. Make that favorite singer. I could watch this forever. Nothing else even touches it.
