What I would recommend is sandwiching a small bearing between the arm and the gimbal which should give you full smooth free rotation without dragging on any of the contact surfaces
Bro! You're a life saver!!!! booooommmmm. this is one of the best video I've seen in a long time on here, and you're a good teacher. keep it up, expecting more of your videos!!!
Just what i wanted to see, Many thanks for this. Would appreciate if you could uploade some footage shot with your set up. As you could see from my channel, i do travel videos and i walk constantly with the XF400 mounted on DJI RS2 comes to around 4 to 5 kgs 8 to 10 pounds. This set up would solve those issues i believe.
WELL DONE! I wish I would have not given away my old vest now :). This is exactly what I was looking for. I like the crane 3S, but I was reluctant on getting it for my big cam (ursa mini pro 4.6k) because of the weight. In the real world of shooting is it doing what you thought it would do? Thanks for the video - keep it up!
I was actually questioning myself! Do you mean there's risks for it to break? Like the spring to come off or anything or you mean he's gonna hurt himself from the weight?
@@madupaul both. The arms/springs won't hold it forever which means eventually it will fail, meaning gear falling etc, and the arm flying back at you etc. How embarrassing would this be to fail in the middle of an important shoot.

Damn... I have almost the same stuff you do but I didn't think of this... Genius.
You are professional don't lie to us 😁👌👊 all this stuff you got looks very professional. Thank you for this video, was just what I'm looking for 👏
Never came out with the second video, nice rig

All blessing to you on the first video!! Make more!! I'm definitely going to try this setup!! I enjoyed!!!
Thank you for this video
Bro made 1 video and bounced lol.
At least it was a useful one.
LMAO
That's ingenious! I'm still trying to calibrate mine. lol
Nice work sir, recycling of old gear is a great idea.
Ultra-outstanding video! Wish I could afford that thingamajig.
Hey Remus, this was an awesome tutorial. I can't wait to try it out. I will be looking forward to your future posting.
I really like this setup!
Thanx for sharing!
great video! it would be great to see the footage you got with that rig set up
Nice, I would suggest a bushing when you mount the crane to the arm for the 3./8 bolt, I also modded mine ,Nice job.

So you have to show us test footage from this. I own a steadicam pilot and I'm very curious about this setup 👍
Great Video! How can you tilt the camera, only with the joysticks? Works it well?
Great work.
Great video
While I'm here, I'm getting ursa mini pro 12k in couple of days, will this setup with crane 3s work for my ursa mini pro 12k?
Nice setup
Hey there. 😊 I was looking for a similar setup. Did you try gimbal + steadycam + vest? Like a DIY Arri Trinity😁
#Dopeness
Very good! I’m going to dust off my old steady cam knock-off vest and make a similar rig. When’s the footage video coming out? Would love to see it.
Great work ,, how is it going in practical situations ?
how mach cost sping &vest system?
Good setup
Awesome! Thanks

Where’s the test footage? Also, where can you buy the adapter?
It he is Falcon?
thanks for sharing
Yo this video is A1! Since you’ve been using it for a while, do you still recommend this set up?
do you have links to these items?
thaks bro i plan on getting this exact setup. does. this rig work with all vests?
Where did you purchase the vest from and cost?
if you should use vortex mode with crane 3s, how do you do???
Well done!
seems like you bought the pro kit - thats what im looking at. However, did you get 1 or 2 focus/zoo motors? meaning did you have to buy another?
My Crane 3S pro kit came with both motors and two rubber lens gear rings
Wherez the stabilized footage???
Good job bra
Hi, what is your steadicam vest ? because on amazon most of the steadicam, that says that they can't handle that weight. Thanks
It was a super cheap Flycam Comfort vest for the Flycam 5000
@@remusworld332 Thank you :), so the arm is from the flycam 5000 too ?
@@yourifedida5466 Yeaup
the fact that zhiyun didnt make something like this out the gate baffles me
How are you powering it
What kind of vest is that ?
what brand is that vest?
素晴らしい!私も真似します!
Release footage
This vest (flycam comfort arm) is only rated for loads of 11lbs. Eventually you are going to hurt yourself or your gear.

Take the ranch lol
