You’re smoking crack if you think Duncanville would destroy Southlake Carroll or even South Oak Cliff would beat them. Carroll would beat both schools and just about any other public schools in the country.

Much like Odessa Permian, Midland Lee was one of the few teams out of West Texas to win their fair share of state championships.
Fast forward a few decades later, they're no longer powerhouses as they once were.

In Texas, 4 teams from each District make the playoffs. The larger two go into the D1 bracket. The smaller two go into the D2 bracket. Westlake was one of the smaller 2 in their District, but Southlake was one of the larger 2 in their District.

That guy used to be pretty good. He still is decent just has dealt with a lot of injuries over the years. A couple years ago he was a great linebacker. Lost some speed and aggression from serious injuries to his knee and shoulders. He’s started for Midland Lee/Legacy for a while now.

Have a question for all Texas sports fans & teams. Almost every year I been seeing teams like Westlake, South Lake Carrol, Katy in the top 5 in the state for a while now. We all know that they are a majority white students schools.
My question is, why is this so?
Is it that they have better players, better training, better equipment, better facilities, better coaches.......??????

South lake and Katy are just different they are always going to be good that’s just how it is Westlake has had some great players that came through the program but they just started to win the past 2 years and the reason why they are ranked high is bc of the district they are in rich is less talented as others and they most likely goes undefeated and be ranked higher then others and another their are 2 playoff brackets for each division and Katy and westlake are always in the easier bracket so it makes them look good but south lake is always good but never win state
