Ellerton Primary School joins Clean and Green drive

Ellerton Primary School in St. George is the latest school to embrace the Clean and Green programme of the Ministry of Environment and National Beautification, Green and Blue Economy.
The school has embarked on a beautification programme by planting fruit and flowering trees, developing a sensory garden and painting a mural at its premises.
Through the Clean and Green programme, the school’s play park will be refurbished featuring new benches.
Minister of Environment and National Beautification, Adrian Forde believes it is important for young people, as the next generation, to be on board with the drive.
He said their participation will make a difference and stressed the need to keep Barbados clean while stamping out illegal dumping.
Ellerton Primary’s Principal, Andrew Haynes has committed to living up to the expectations placed on the school.
