I'm also in my 30+yrs old, and being an artist here in the Philippines is really a big hurdle or struggle. Dealing with social media platforms is a big challenge for me coz like you, I'm a shy person. Listening to your journey gives me hope to continue my art or start over. Thank you sharing your story 🥰🥰
On my video Overcoming Loss, I shared how I quit drawing a lot in my 20s because of the challenges of building an art career in the PH. We shy artists really have to learn how to be braver to show our art for opportunities out there! ❤ you can always start over & overcome your shyness slowly but surely!
I’m so glad I found your channel. I am also 30 years old and took the chance to work on art and crafting as my job instead of my hobby for my mental health sake. Your videos keep reminding me how important hope and faith are and the reason why I tried something new is worthwhile and a reason to be grateful so thank you! Keep going!! Your art is amazing 🙌🏽
Thank you as well for sharing your journey! 😄 It’s definitely a test of faith, hope and LOVE actually because it’ll make you realize how much you need art in your life! ❤️
I’m 27 right now but I’m currently at a crossroads on what to do for the rest of my life. I’ve experienced being stretched too thin in life obligations but my heart always comes back to art. Because of my current life trajectory, I’ve decided to prepare for an art career. Thank you for making videos like this. It means the world to see older women making cute art ❤
Your story really gives me hope as an aspiring artist in my 30s and based in PH. I too struggle w/ social media because I'm shy >u< But gotta get out of our comfort zone 😆 Thank you for sharing your story.
Thank you Mia! ❤ Making these kinds of videos feel like a time capsule to me! I hope it can help in other people’s journey and something I can look back on as I move forward 🥰
Oh my goodness I cant believe I found your youtube channel! I remember finding you on twitter and thinking "Oh my god this is artist has the absolute cutest artstyle! I need it. Take my money. " I didn't even think twice before commissioning. Now that I'm embarking on my own art journey, my biggest goal is to be able to make someone feel as much joy as I felt when I got your art piece (money would be nice too but ykno.) Thank you for sharing your story!
Kyoukie! ❤ I’ll never forget you as one of my first attempt at making giftuber models! I’ll never forget your model in my art journey as it’s part of my beginning stages of being a fulltime artist! You can do it!! ❤
I just stumbled upon your vid/channel and I must say I follow a lot of artists, but you sounded so genuine and open, it's very refreshing. You have a beautiful mindset, I hope you can achieve all of your dreams and goals. Also, awesome art!
In my 30s now Currently I think my dreams currently outweigh reality Mainly 60%dream 40%%reality It's mainly because I get a lot of hopeful opportunities that end up falling through currently but some have come through I am making ok money but it's not stable yet. But it's becoming more of a reality day by day so that's how I taking it In my 20s it was 90% a dream due to health issues
I'm going to be 31 in a couple of weeks and am still working hard on my dream career as an artist and creator. It's so easy to get discouraged, especially when after years of hard work, you still don't make any money from it, but I recently had a switch in my mindset. I'm doing this because I LOVE it. Art makes me happy and fulfilled. Creating feeds my soul. One day I will look back and laugh at how worried I was about everything, so I should just enjoy the journey and continue to work hard on my dreams. Everything will be okay. I am proud of how far I've come over the years and I look forward to where I will be in the future. ❤
❤❤❤ I love how much MINDSET can really change the way you pursue a creative journey! It’s also the very reason why I finally chased my dreams, as well as knowing that my parents lived their dreams to the fullest made me want to do the same in my life ❤️
I would love to see the full colouring process of your emotes i am really struggling with that😭 have you considered just making a draw with me full process video here or even on patreon? I would 100% be your supporter!❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you once again for another insightful art journey! Committing to having art as your full time work is indeed a slow yet fruitful burn. I hope to reach the stage where people fully embrace what I work on and have my art as a way to have a stable career. Also, I really love your art style. Can't wait to have more videos like this soon
Thank you for sharing your goals too! ❤ It’s definitely a journey of inevitable GROWTH because there are challenges that test your love for art but by the end of the day you’ll find ways to make it work 😌💕
Your words resonate so much with the moment I'm in life right now. Thank you very much for the video, it helped me ease my anxieties take it slow about my career and social media. And I loved your art sytle! I'll follow your journey for sure! ♥
Thank you so much! 🥹 It means a lot because my intention with sharing my journey is to take you with me because I’m also at the stage of making my art career stable. I hesitated talking about my journey a lot because I thought I should be successful first before I can talk about it.
Thank you so much for this complete guide, cut for every type of Artists that whish to make their Art a reality than an idea and are working on it but need guidance and the tools on how to make it, the cons and pros and of course the motivation ( the anker) that makes us go for it!! I hope that the hardship in your life will be smaller than your Blessings, in thousand fold!! ^^ God bless you, and thank you again for your video. it really touched me and is really what I needed :)
Thank you so much for your feedback! ❤️🙏 It means a lot as I was initially hesitant to make this kind of video because I felt that I wasn’t at the level of success to be talking about it BUT it’s also why I made it because I want to share my journey as I grow through it 🥹
You have no idea what that means to me! 💜 I’ve hesitated so many times in sharing my experiences because I thought that I didn’t have the right or I wasn’t successful enough to talk about it 🥺
Thank you for this video! Its very insightful information. I do have a question (and I might have missed it if you already made a video) but can you advise on how you have your drawing station set up?
I imagine the negotiate spells book is probably a book that tells u hw to not get yr soul stolen by a demon or hw to talk to a genie so yr wish doesn't go wrong. Udk I just think it wld b funny to think of Witches becoming basically lawyers for other witches to broker deals between fae/tricksters and humans
What a great video Anj! Sharing your life journey as an artist and yeah, I too struggling for few things in life. I'm glad I watched your video, such an inspiration. Thank you!
