Having a title around Apple and ChatGPT, but then merely scraping the surface of the actual partnership is disappointing. You're also mixing Apple Intelligence and jumping to ChatGPT which is not true. Apple Intelligence is on-device first, and the basic and everyday-use functionality is not reaching out to ChatGPT. This is a critical distinction to make as that confusion by a customer whom doesn't understand this nuance will end up jumping to conclusions that their data is being sent to another company. Only if you need a larger data set to create your prompt and will need to opt-in with every ask that requires that larger data set will you be interacting with ChatGPT.
And now if only NPR didn’t lean so far left. I still listen, have for decades, but it’s very unbalanced
