Getting here (I'm from Namibia) might be a bit pricey, but Namibia itself is quite inexpensive if you're okay without the 5 star experience ☀️

@@kobbiemelo2203 She just said that she was in Sesriem and did not mention the lodge in particular but from the looks of it I think she stayed at the Dead Valley Lodge in Sesriem.
Namibia is wonderful I lived on a farm near otjiwarongo for a year and it was the best time of my life

I recently visited Namibia and was surprised to see how many people come to Namibia to see animals and not take time to know the indigenous beautiful people. Your video is awesome, but I recommend learning the history of the people and save money by visiting national parks over private game lodges owned by wealthy Europeans.

Every is entitled to how they're gonna use their money? What did you do for the indigenous people then? Buy them houses or game lodges? Why do you think it's a good idea to lecture people on what to visit. What a messed up world we live in . Plus where is your video or you just want to come to other people's videos and make noise?
Do you think the people working on private game reserves are not indigenous?
Some ppl prefer more remote and relaxing vacations. I get more enjoyment from landscapes, architecture, and animals than I do from ppl.

One day I would like visit and be in Namibia
I was almost taken aback when I saw this come up. I live in South Africa and have never been to Namibia. I've always wanted to go, but I feel like many of us tend to want to go to other continents for travel. My next trip is definitely going to be Namibia.

So naughty! Especially because you can easily drive from SA. Even if you do Southern Namibia with Fish River, Luderitz and Mariental, lots to see and the petrol is WAY cheaper than in SA!

What an amazing experience and I was so in awe the whole time. I actually got a bit teary eyed when I saw the footage of the leopards-that seems to be such a rare sighting. I have lived in Africa for 99% of my life and I don’t think I have seen a leopard. They are SUPER rare so it’s very lucky if you see one!

Well, this just moved up on my bucket list. Hoping to do about 2 weeks, as you did. Amazing landscape and diversity of wildlife.
When there’s nothing but fresh air, early mornings and early nights, you get rejuvenated even if you are on the road. Extremely relaxing country, especially cause most of these places have pools too so a mid day swim is a win!
It gets me super excited to see people visit Namibia to explore and experience it’s spectacular views. Thank you Allison for beautifully showcasing the land of the brave. 🇳🇦

What an amazing experience! Namibia is definitely on my travel list, I would love to travel there at some point and see all those amazing places! I visited Kenya and Masaai Mara National Park and it was such an amazing experience. I have to see more of the African continent and explore more cultures and places there! 😍

Yes, it is dangerous, but it's really not as bad as everyone says it is. I think tourists put themselves more at risk, though, by walking around with expensive cameras, etc. I'd recommend trying to blend in as much as possible and keeping expensive things out of sight when you're not using them. Don't make yourself an unnecessary target ☀️

@@jbrunasa I am a Namibian, I'll say 80% of the robberies happen in the city, and since there are not so many good places for tourists to explore in the city it's not advisable to last long in the city. The remote areas and small towns are safer. And one thing I have realized if you rent a car which doesn't have a rental company decal on it, people might think you're just a citizen since our country has the second largest white population in Africa and citizens are not likely to be targeted unless they have seen some valuables on you
If you mind what they say you will miss out am a namibian whoe didn't even get a chance to explore my own country

I went to Namibia twice. Each time for two weeks. It is such a wonderfull country. The nature there is absolutely spectacular and also the mentality of the people is so chill and open minded. I absolutely fell in love and I want to go there again in my life. You captured that beauty really well.
