I love the go pro shaking. Unironically. It gives you a sense of how ridiculous the acceleration and braking is, and how brutal the shifts are. Also holy shit if any car has ever looked and sounded angelic it's this. Valkyrie suits it perfectly.

After trying out the launch control and going around a few corners at speed I definitely had a newfound respect for what speed really is. I couldn't help but think "if that was a GT-R, what the hell are F1 drivers doing?!?!" I cant even imagine the feeling of being in a car like this. Just wow.
There really is a MASSIVE difference between race cars and road cars. If you want to have your mind blown its as simple as getting yourself on a proper race kart

DPi's were doing 155 over the crest at IMSA in April, and this was doing 160 with 200 horsepower to go... The only thing I've seen faster over the crest was the V10 McLaren formula one car at 175. Unbelievable.

Having literally just come back from Le Mans this weekend just gone, I'd LOVE to see the Valkyrie entered in the LMP1 class. There were a couple of Aston Martin in GTE class, but this would be a real treat. Hopefully they'll get something done for next years 100th Anniversary of Le Mans race.
All I have for context is playing this track in GT7 and Forza. That was blistering fast compared to game. Again, that corkscrew must be physically rough to go through especially with that speed and g-force. I bet the track times were not around lunch time for that car, otherwise passengers would be throwing up their lunch. Your ride seems like a ride of a lifetime especially with this car and track. Congrats.

I grew up going to laguna for almost every race, we lived about ten minutes away. After watching all sorts of kinds of cars run through this track, based on my experience watching the ALMS cars race there, and knowing the specs of this car, it has a good five seconds in it at least. They probably wouldn't take passengers on a full blown on the razors edge ten tenths flying lap, it just isn't the smartest idea, but wow what a car regardless. The bump start transition from ev to cossie power is the most insane sound I've heard in a while
Being someone who races on tracks religiously. I can already tell that the videos will not even come close to doing it justice. That had to be one hell of an experience.

How far is that? Last "production" Valkyrie I heard broke down on the track and had 3 engineers with it. The Pro doesn't even have the same chassis as the production car
@@Shadowboost The pre production version broke down with a fault. Now there are cars in customers hands across Europe. I still expect issues which is about reasonable when it comes to extreme hypercars like this. This is using a binned Le Man's prototype monocoque not the roadcars It's not a massive departure tbh.

That is just an absolute monster of a car! Its probably one of if not the most extreme car being produced currently from how it looks, sounds, performs and the power to weight ratio. Its a truely impressive machine that Aston Martin has been kind enough to make available for anyone with pockets deep enough to purchase one!

I think we should make a petition to get this car in WEC and Le Mans along with the "Gordon Murray T50". It'll be a tragedy and a crime to not have these cars racing.
@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks That's probably not true considering that the T.50 will develop all its downforce FROM A STANDSTILL while the typical LMP car doesn't even make appreciable downforce until over 60mph. With the right driver on the right track the T.50 may actually be one of the fastest production cars in history. We should eventually get a decent Nurburgring time to throw around, so soon we shall see.
Great piece of engineering and looks really pretty too. Just remember F1 during the peak performance of 2020 were pulling north of 6Gs in certain corners
Lewis’ pole lap in Mugello is quite possibly the best description of engineering and human together as one entity at its epitome. You could feel those Gs in the second sector my goodness!
Tim could probably just make an entire video talking about his experience in this beast. You can just tell that after getting out and talking about the car a little bit, it feels like he still has a lot more to say. xD Also, am I the only one who thinks the way the Valkyrie sounds rivals that of the symphony that is the Lexus LFA's V10? The V12 that the Valkyrie has sounds utterly bonkers, while also sounding like an orchestra of engineering like no other.
Looks absolutely aggressive, yet kinda simple(in terms of visuals). Probably one of the best looking Aston race cars ever. You should buy a new Aston Martin for your home. There's a dealership in my town of Chicago with a showroom as well, I think an Aston could be a great car to own, whether it's a Victor, a Vantage GT12, or a DB11. I'm excited for the goodwood fos this summer btw. wonder what cars with be there... Cheers from across the pond...
I was just on a road trip in America for my 40th (im from UK). on the way down through California i stopped at Laguna seca. just wanted to take some pictures of the track as I've spent many hours playing the circuit on video games. I drove up through the windy road to see how close i could get. I got to a kiosk and it was open. I asked what was on. The lady said it was a hypercar meet and $8 to get in. So i thought well what the hell i'll go take a look. I parked up at the corkscrew. got out and walked track side. next minute this thing comes flying round the track. Me and my missus spent about 3 hours watching unbelievable cars driving round. Couldn't believe my luck! what a memory to keep.
The sort of experience that completely recalibrates your aspirations, a bit like my first drive in an F12 but on a very different level. What next for your garage?

Great piece of engineering and looks really pretty too. Just remember F1 during the peak performance of 2020 were pulling north of 6Gs in certain corners
Lewis’ pole lap in Mugello is quite possibly the best description of engineering and human together as one entity at its epitome. You could feel those Gs in the second sector my goodness!
The frequency of the revs impacted the cameras focus. That's awesome. Reminds me of shifter karting as a youth with shaky vision at speed.
Tim could probably just make an entire video talking about his experience in this beast. You can just tell that after getting out and talking about the car a little bit, it feels like he still has a lot more to say. xD
Also, am I the only one who thinks the way the Valkyrie sounds rivals that of the symphony that is the Lexus LFA's V10? The V12 that the Valkyrie has sounds utterly bonkers, while also sounding like an orchestra of engineering like no other.
Has more cylinders and more revs AND more power !!

Looks absolutely aggressive, yet kinda simple(in terms of visuals). Probably one of the best looking Aston race cars ever. You should buy a new Aston Martin for your home. There's a dealership in my town of Chicago with a showroom as well, I think an Aston could be a great car to own, whether it's a Victor, a Vantage GT12, or a DB11. I'm excited for the goodwood fos this summer btw. wonder what cars with be there...

I was just on a road trip in America for my 40th (im from UK). on the way down through California i stopped at Laguna seca. just wanted to take some pictures of the track as I've spent many hours playing the circuit on video games. I drove up through the windy road to see how close i could get. I got to a kiosk and it was open. I asked what was on. The lady said it was a hypercar meet and $8 to get in. So i thought well what the hell i'll go take a look. I parked up at the corkscrew. got out and walked track side. next minute this thing comes flying round the track. Me and my missus spent about 3 hours watching unbelievable cars driving round. Couldn't believe my luck! what a memory to keep.
The sort of experience that completely recalibrates your aspirations, a bit like my first drive in an F12 but on a very different level. What next for your garage?
Aston Martin absolutely killed it with this car, The only competitor I can see this car having is the Bugatti Bolide.
