- I loved Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and with that Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski movie ‘If’ seeming very similar to the concept, it got me thinking about how I would reboot this series if someone handed the reigns over to me!
Admittedly the art is similar to what I would have done if I was making this an SCP episode, but the story is much more uplifting. In this episode I draw Mac, Bloo, Wilt, Frankie, Coco and Eduardo in a more rendered and bit creepier art style (for the monsters anyway).

I think Samurai Jack could be a great part of this series. The idea could be that Jack is a time traveling warrior set on slaying shape-shifting crime lord, Aku.

This was incredible. I'm a huge fan of your Artist Reboot videos since they are absolutely interesting to see you reimagine the designs of characters and give them new and interesting stories, plus I just generally really love Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends because it’s just an amazing cartoon and I absolutely loved it as a kid. So seeing you redesign some of the Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends in your own style is incredible. I love Mac and Bloo’s and Eduardo’s designs the most (with Coco and Frankie coming in a close second). Mac and Bloo’s gives off that presence of a unique duo with some unexpected powers and skills that could either make them really fierce or just a mighty duo ready for adventure...plus I love how they just fit so well with their rebooted designs and I think they look like a fierce duo you'd come across in a D&D campaign, Wilt’s gives off that determined and driven being that will insure those who hang with him will definitely have an amazing time and will always be their in your corner...plus I love how he could adapt pretty well with a classic imaginary friend look while still maintaining his classic look and how it makes it unique trait even more outstanding, Frankie and Coco’s design gives off that feel of a cool and fierce wacky duo that look unassuming at first and can actually show just how fierce they can be and that you should never underestimate the unexpected...plus I love how they just seem to be a perfect match for any challenge that could give anyone some trouble; specifically looking like a cool kid with a hint a wacky but loyal companion, Eduardo’s design gives off that cool and powerful beast look to him that also feels like he can really go toe to toe with some of the toughest opponents out there and become a great companion...plus I love how he just makes him look really cool and emphasizes that despite looking like a mighty bull that is also a scary cat but also has a heart of gold and will always be their for you. This was an amazing video and it’s one of the best ones with a cool topic that I haven’t seen you do in a while...and I like it. I'd love to see you try to turn some more Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends characters and other cartoon characters into something since I think that would be a great opportunity to explore other kinds of old cartoons and just how crazy their reimagined origins could be. I'd also be ok with seeing you do a video on drawing more of these kinds of cartoon characters as either kaijus, SCPs or as more mech/fantasy armours, since I think that would be pretty interesting...plus if its the case for armours, I think Benny and Vasilia would have a blast. I also can’t wait to see how Mara’s story continues in the multiverse tales episodes. This is definitely a great start to your new Grand Prix based off of Artist Reboots of these cartoons and I’m looking forward to part 2 of this Grand Prix next Monday; for other cartoon ideas to use…maybe American Dragon Jake Long, Jackie Chan Adventures or even Danny Phantom could make for some interesting video for this Grand Prix. Great job as always Christian and I can’t wait to see what you draw on Friday’s video.
P.s. do you think you could do a video of turning dinosaurs into mech armours? Cuz I want to see how Benny Sharp and Champagne McGregor would get along. Also do you think you could do a video we’re you turn Disney princesses into witches. Also could you try something with Apex Legends?
Id love to see shows like the fairy odd parents or total drama in your art style. Fairy odd parents has so much creativity, and itd be fun to watch you right a story that takes place in one of Timmy's misadventures.
Total drama, while it xtarted pretty down to earth, got extremely insane in its later seasons. Id love to see how you'd handle characters like erzekel or mike in your hands, maybe even some of the mutants form all stars and revenge of the island!
A franchise I would love to see get a reboot or revival is Medabots, which could be fun to see tackle; it's a world where practically everyone has fighting robots with advanced AI programs held within special medals, hence the name. It's also known by the Japanese name Medarot. And the anime was a lot of fun, for the most part, Medabots Spirits was kind of dull despite bringing in some interesting new stuff.
Ohohohooo that is a tempting one! I only watched a handful of eps as a kid but always LOVED the designs!

I couldn’t help but smile all throughout this video. The art was fantastic as usual and I think this might be my favorite non Multiverse Tale story so far. I definitely am looking forward to seeing more of this in the future. Maybe something with Secret Saturdays, Code Lyoko, or even just general obscure Cartoon Network shows.

Honestly this episode kinda hits me hard. Thankfully, I DO mostly spend time with people who share my hobbies or are at least accepting of them, but still, sometimes it feels like the world is just *against* those things and it gets pretty irritating. Of course 'maturity' CAN and often is used to describe positive traits, but sometimes when I hear people tell others to 'grow up', it feels like they're trying to mask their own demands of how a person should think or act behind a trait with a universally 'good' connotation. So this feels validating, lol.
This video’s story is C.S. Lewis’ quote about putting away the fear of growing up including the fear of seeming childish manifested. Great work as usual! Also, I saw Gravity Falls in the intro and would love for you to do something with the characters, especially with the Book of Bill coming out. Maybe a variety episode?

I know it's not a traditional kids show, but when I was young I was an anime called Soul Eater. It would be cool to see it as you do such a great job with weapons and battle poses already. Plus, I think the powers of people turning into and out of weapons would look really cool in your style.

Wow you really are inspiring. I like how you make some of your tales really have meaning and give depth to them. I could even see this as a reboot of Fosters. I think the element of having the imaginary friend being tied to the human life cycle was a smart move. I also think you giving Terrance a happy ending is great I love a good redemption story and you made it work.

Thank you! I actually have started writing a draft of a novel or audiobook version of it! Its still in slow development, I havent abandonned it, just might release it in a different format!
Man, this video was something else! Not only the redesigns look amazing, but the narrative is so good, it's different yet still encapsulates what made the original so special.(The hallmark of an excellent reboot/adaptation!)
For this Gran Prix, i have a out of left field idea: Kick Buttowsky! That show was a major part of my childhood, so much fun! And the sequel fancomics created by artist Jourd4n were so good that the original creator loved it! I think having those characters with the PopCross magic touch would be sick!
(Oh, and yeah, I'm still hoping you work with Transformers characters in the future aswell!)

There’s a lot of Video Game franchises that I think you could do. Mario and Sonic are easy ones, you can pull a ton of forgotten characters or enemies out of somewhere.
Oh yeah, I didnt even think about those, they could be super cool rebooted!
You know, that was a really heartwarming message right at the end right there. And I would absolutely love to see the Artist Reboot series continuing after the Grand Prix, because there is a lot of stuff that you could work with that falls under the category of weird and obscure.
Which brings me to the character I've been advocating for quite some time. I've been carrying around Hsien-Ko since the start of this year, and I think that throwing her and other Darkstalkers characters in the Marvel universe would be very fitting, considering Marvel's history with Capcom... but I could have my arm twisted and see characters from the niche franchise of Darkstalkers thrown into other supernatural-esque universes, like Gravity Falls for example (following Stanford and Stanley in their journeys after the show had wrapped up).
Either way, thank you for another reason awesome video (and for listening to me ramble on), and I look forward to seeing the next one on Friday!

This was so sweet! I loved all the art and the story is something I really like hearing, someone should take this moral and premise and reboot the show! I think a lot of people would benfit from the message😊 this whole thing just put a massive smile on my face, as your stories tend to do, exited for whatever's next! I personally would love to see you re-write Star VS the Forces of evil, I really like a lot of aspects from the show and would love to see how you'd put them together😁

I really love this take on foster's, and the ending actually made me tear up a little.
In a similar vein to this, Monster Allergy was a show I loved when I was little and had some similar monster design themes to Foster's. That'd be a nice one to see. Or if Saturday morning anime is fair game, Spider Riders is another one that could use a Popcross touch-up.

This actually would be an awesome premise on why foster's was founded...this is an awesome video the series was one of my favorite as a kid
Ideas.
1: Disney characters as kaiju starting with redraws of your Elsa and Rapunsel kaiju, Maiu as a bulky kaiju who can change into other forms and Vannelopy as a smaller kaiju with glitching powers.
2: TMNT mutants as mutant kaiju Leatherhead, Meat sweats as a mutant pig who eats other kaiju, Scumbug and Ray fillet.
3: Horror villains in the suicide squad Jason Voorhees, the predalien, Freddy Krueger and Slenderman.
4: Folklore creatures as xenomorphs where Bustar travels to the folklore universe and meets Gangadharan and Annelies.
5: Smashbros ultimate as demons. A secret fighting ring where demons are pitted against each other. Samus, Pikachu, Bayonetta and Meta knight.
6: Rick and Morty variety episode Rick, gromflomites, Supernova as a cosmic fantasy beast and Mr Meeseks. part 2: Mr Nimbus, Beths mytholog, Snuffles and Story lord.
7: A banter episode where Mara tells stories to Tamika about other people who killed demons fear of doughnuts, fear of vomiting, fear of dancing and fear of doctors.
8: Suicide squad variety episode where we learn about the deferent versions of Amanda Waller and the squad Peacemaker dragon, Harley Quinn demon, King Shark fused with Abomination for a fusion of the squad and the thunderbolts called the SuicideBolts and Ratcatcher 2 in the mortal kombat universe.
9: Cartoon characters as scps Nichole Watterson, Bill Cipher, Garnet and Cosmo.
10: A new series where you create weird fusions of characters and monsters and the narrator could be a multiverse scientist who has copies of all energies in the multiverse. 1. 3. Does a overseer council exist,like one that does all they can to insure the overseers don't cause enough trouble to get the reaper involved
1) Maybe at some point, but got a lot of present day stuff to cover first
2) Partially for the reason that's been said it existed for, to protect the multiverse from being destroyed by one overseer or universe that gets too out of hand and threatens the others, but also they made it extreme to keep things interesting :P
3) There may have been at some point, but it was either disbanded or destroyed by now :P
This is amazing, I love how much detail you gave to the characters you were drawing, the characters you have not drawn though are Duchess, Cheese, and Red (Terrence's imaginary friend).

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting you to redraw Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends because I haven’t seen it in a long time. Mainly because I saw it back on the TV channel. Oh, well, this might be interesting!
Questions:
1. Naseko - I understand that you like insects and crustaceans, but do you have anything against arachnids because Sterling answered your question incorrectly?
2. Skinner (Scythe included) - Skinner, when your mind is reconnected eventually, I'm sure Jake will help you rehabilitate and help others. Also, I'm glad you're doing well with Scythe helping you. As for Scythe, are you and Astra frenemies or rivals?
3. Jake - If you saw someone jumpscare you with a Michael Myers costume as a prank, what would you do?
4. Ana - I know that being in the BackCells was difficult, so I'm glad that you, Kate, and Jake are doing okay.
1) No. Arachnids are good to, but not knowing the difference between them and insects is dumb.

There was a cartoon that I think is pretty cool. It’s called “Loonatics Unleashed”. If you don’t know what that is, it’s basically about the futuristic descendants of the classic loony toons with super powers. If you would give into consideration as to look it up and think about it, you might get some good ideas for future upcoming videos. I’m confident that you will not be disappointed.

The movie, If ( 2024), reminds me a lot of Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends because it has a father and daughter opening a hotel for imaginary friends! I cannot help but laugh after seeing the burning marshmallow saying, " Thanks. It really means a lot!"

I don't know if you already have plans for a Future "Danny Phantom Artist Rebooted" video, but I wanted to suggest some potential new Lore ideas to adapt into.
1. You could some elements of the "The Ghost Whisperer"(2005). Where Danny, after he has his near death accident in his parent's basement laboratory, he gains the ability to one of the very few people who can see ghosts. The only difference that sets him apart from those who can see ghosts is that the lab accident also gifted him with the powers of a ghost and the ability to either help ghosts with their troubles and regrets. Or fight off the ghosts that were causing trouble and spreading misery across his hometown.
2. You could always give Danny a similar origin story to "Spider-Man". Having Danny survive his parent's basement lab accident, keep them a secret from everyone (even his family and friends), having him want to use his powers to make some quick cash to help his parents pay the bills to the house and most of the materials they used to build their ghost hunting gadgets. Eventually have one of Danny's loved ones die, because he walks away from a crime happening in front of him, having said loved one tell Danny about "With Great Power, Must Come Great Responsibility". Which pushes him into becoming a True Hero that his hometown needs.
3. Have Danny Phantom be a part of "The Extreme Ghostbusters" universe, Where Jack and Maddie Fenton voluntarily work for Dr.Egon Spengler and help with his research. Mainly the ghostly part of the supernatural and even fill in for Dr.Spengler on his classes at "New York City College", where their children Jasmine 'Jazz' Fenton(who was there for extra college credit) and Daniel 'Danny' Fenton attended with four other college students(Kylie Griffin, Garrett Miller, Roland Jackson and Eduardo Rivera). Danny invites his new college friends to study and hang out at his house that happens to be across the Ghostbuster's firehouse, Kylie, Garrett and Roland get curious about Maddie and Jack's involvement in the Dr.Spengler's research and ask to look around some of their inventions, while Eduardo remained indifferent to the whole situation. Danny shows them the basement laboratory with his new friends showing a variety of reactions. Soon enough Danny comes across the Fenton Ghost Portal that had been assumed to be inactive for months, until Danny is goated by Eduardo and Garrett to go inside see what the machine looks like the inside. Eventually Danny accidentally activate the man-made Ghost Portal from the inside by pressing the on button and causes the Lab Accident. Which not only gifts Danny with ghost powers and ever evolving ghostly abilities, but also unleashed a whole new batch of ghosts with some welding stronger abilities than the previous ghosts that the original Ghostbusters dealt with. Meaning Egon Spengler will have to recruit some new members to form a newer team of Ghostbusters. Luckily Kylie Griffin volunteers to be the first member of this new Ghostbuster team(mainly because of her great interest in the supernatural and guilt for not stopping the others for daring Danny to mess with the machine that cause the lab accident) , along with Garrett Miller, Roland Jackson, Eduardo Rivera, Jazz Fenton and Danny Fenton(after a month of medical/science research on him and special Ghostbuster training for everyone).
In case you already have something in mind for a "Danny Phantom" Artist Reboot voice, that's fine. You could always use these ideas for some other Danny Phantom Alternate Universe Video. You have my full blessing to use these suggestion ideas, if you want that is.
