Don't forget that the 3.6 in the Jeep needs the coolant system burped. That thing holds air and will cause many of the same symptoms you encountered. If you don't get all the air out, you'll have no heat, no flow, and the hoses won't get hot due to no flow. Always check that there's no air in the system, and that can be done by opening the bleeder valve on top of the thermostat housing. Hope this helps. ✌🏼

That thermostat doesn't open until temp hits 203.
