Brilliantly said, this is by far one of the only films which can be called a classic in this generation (in which films are abominably bad and can't be watched at all, it is in fact painful to watch a lot of films as they are an assault on our senses)and will hold the test of time. Truly a near flawless film- and is true to cinema
Abishek for a reason 👏my 9 years old daughter was weeping who doesn't even speak English , connected with these emotions 🙂love everything about this movie. Here in USA we were lucky to watch fdfs uncut version .
Such a Blissful interview, i felt that Mr.Prem is very clear about his intentions. I watched in theatre but to see what was trimmed down / cut, sorry to the film team, I saw the pirated version. The scenes elaborating the state of Karthi in first Maattu Pongal after Jallikkattu ban & Karthi pouring his heart out in the dam were little drawn out but still stayed relevant. I think most of the people missed out the emotional aspect of that... the rebel Jallikattu scene in which even the policeman plays "ஏறுதழுவுதல்", the conversation at the dam shows how Karthi is empathising for Eelam Tamils, those who died in Sterlite protest - he is aware of things that happen around him, he is not ignorant (அறிவிலி). Despite knowing all the injustice around him, he retains his innocence (அப்பாவி). Since those scenes are cut, people think Karthi is an innocent villager who lives within the well without exposure to literature & surroundings. I just hope that these scenes are retained in the OTT version.
@@spidey9943 he is more focused on showing he knows more than the guest in terms of knowledge. He might make the interviewee feel uncomfortable quite often. Interviewer is a real cringe material for the fact.

His watch swapped between his hands , from right hand to left hand. what made him to do? curious to know the reason.
Limiting writers/Directors freedom by trimming the scenes in the movie ☹️Bad move
If anchor underplays his part then the interview will be top notch

Trimming a movie shows you are not free to say what you wanted. This is bad.
Tamil movies are full of politics & ideology....only freedom is to say positive things abt Dravida ideology in our flims. Thats the truth.
