Today Nok shows you how to do homemade pumpkin chips. This dish is known as “keropok” in Malaysia. Traditionally these chips, or crackers if you prefer, were flavoured with fish, shrimp, or squid. This was a way for fisherman to preserve their catch. However, as a vegan option, we use pumpkin known in Costa Rica as ayote. Few ingredients required: pumpkin, starch, salt, garlic…but the process is interesting and fun! Enjoy making this great snack at home!

Hi! Hope you can try it! Pumpkin is not only one option you also can do with carrots or sweet potatoes and many kinds of vegetables. If you are not a gluten-free person, you can also add wheat flour for more puff up. The amount of the best ingredients is 500 grams of corn starch, 500 grams of wheat flour and 1KG of Cassava starch (YUGA STARCH) for 500 grams of vegetables. Thank you and enjoy!
