That dish 'pachhadi' is common in Andhra cooking as well. The word pachhi means raw. Most pachhadee are made with uncooked ingredients. As newer ingredients (veg or fruit) have been converted into pachhadee, some had to be cooked for consumption. So a pachhadi is a blend of semi cooked or raw ingredients with a seasoning/tempering of the usual suspects like mustartd seeds, cumin seeds, whole chillies, curry leaves or coriander.. Sometimes methi seeds too.
Ur cooking is good , may be some difference from how authentic malayalis make it and how it is served in the leaf ( it does have a specific order were the dishes have to be placed ) and most importantantly u may revist on ur history lessons on the history of sadhya ....
Dear sir don't cut banana leaf fully because we cut it for funerals lay down body on full banana leaf So when ever you cut the banana leaf 1/3 part of leaf
