@@Null_ExperisThe game is made by spaniards based on spanish folklore why would they speak lartin, let alone italian.
@@Null_Experis It's based on spanish culture, architecture, religion and folklore not about generic catholic traditions. And even then, why would they use latin? They used it for religious acts but they spoke spanish the rest of the time. It's funny that you're trying to explain my own culture and what language a game made in my country, by my folk, based on my own culture, should be and it's even funnier than you suggest italian when it's not really any closer to latin than any other romance language.
But the real reason is because these voice actors are gold medals man
@@Null_ExperisOk but you do realize the Sevillian team has explicitly stated their Sevillian cultural inspiration, which has a lot of old strict Catholicism viewed through the art, traditions, buildings and beliefs pertaining specifically to Seville. I mean, the most holy site of the first game's religion is inside a moor-looking room inside a massive cathedral like the one they have in Seville. A similarly moorish inspired building is a big set piece in the second game. Both of these owe a lot to their specific culture and not to worldwide, site-agnostic Catholicism.
If anything my only real complaint is how much of the voice acting sounds like neutral castillian Spanish instead of andalusian, but it's a minor gripe.
This was a crazy stream, she played for 23 hours straight.
You should've seen her Maka Maka stream from a couple years ago. I went to sleep _twice_ and she was still streaming when I woke up. After 36 straight hours, manager-san told her to stop and get some rest. She came back after just a few hours and proceeded to beat the game.

raw facts
You would expect games made in Spain to understand the how to pay proper respect to their dialect.
As a Latin American, we usually see most spanish dubs as mid at best (we won't let them forget "Onda vital", no one will) it's good to see one that's just actually really good.
It might be nostalgia talking, but aside from Blasphemous, one of the best spanish dubs I heard of was the OG Warcraft 3.

Spanish-speakers don't deserve it after what they did during Korone's 500k celebration stream. They were spamming the chat trying to get her to say shit in Spanish, and even the Japanese viewers were commenting on how rude they are.

Spanish is similar to Japanese, in pronunciation terms
Seeing Korone playing Blasphemous 2 in Spanish makes me so happy as an hispanic viewer. Super curious how Hakka would stream these games. The language spoken is pretty old and poetic, much like priests and pastors speak.
The vowels in spanish are just five, and all of them are included in japanese language.
This is why she has no problem in reproduce some spanish words.

as a spanish speaker this makes me happy. Japanese and Spanish has similar phonics it sounds natural when she repeats them.

_mi penitencia no es terminado..._
"Mi penteniencia aun no ha acabado"
Really cool comment in case you care about such things it would be
" _Mi penitencia no ha terminado_ "
Its a pretty insignificant difference and its 100% understandable but is a bit closer to "my penance is no a finish" than "...isn't finished" if you use " es " (as in being) instead of " ha " (as in has) ....
My grammar explanations look awful and are probably wrong so you are just gonna have to trust me (spanish 1st language so I don't know the gramar rules it just "sounds right" )
