Hey brother. I understand about the confidence factor. Just remember if we allow the “fear of failure” to hold us back then how can we get to the finish line. You got the right motivation and keep moving forward. It seems like those around want you to succeed. Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll make it happen.
Nice job!! i highly recommend wearing gloves as much as possible bro, it look hot AF out there but that PPE gonna save you brother. Keep up the excellent work!
Love the work bro! Confidence will come with time. I truly believe that the ability to figure things out is a skill that needs to be practiced. You’ll eventually take what you learn from everyone else and add your twist to it. I’m looking forward to watching the journey!
Thank you Daryl I appreciate it, Your absolutely right. Figuring things out is a skill, can’t wait to get there one day! In due time, I’m just trying to keep learning & trusting the process.. Thanks for the support!👍🏽
Man you have such a positive attitude towards life and your career. I’m a 3rd year apprentice up here in Canada, sometimes I find it hard to be as positive as you even when I know electrical is my dream career. Loved the video and am looking forward to going back and watching the rest of your videos
Shawn Thanks for the support! You’ve been doing it longer than me so I know you know how rough it gets sometimes. I think trying to stay positive is the only option I have & just try to keep enjoying the journey knowing one day I’ll be a Journeyman then a Master Electrician God willing.. Thanks for the support again I truly appreciate it!🙏🏽
Honestly, it looked like you did a great job on your first solo! 👏👏When I was pursuing music a while ago, the producer I worked with at the time had told me to have more confidence when I sing. Honestly, felt like I gave it my all but looking back I learned some things from him and other times, he just had different expectations for me as an artist than I had for myself. But yeah you did a great job in this video! 💯 I think having good work ethic is having a sense of Self awareness and that’s definitely something I see in your videos and yourself so kudos to you ✊💪💪
Can’t Thank you enough as always! It’s good to know someone has been in a similar situation and you worked through it. I definitely can say I’m way more confident than I was when I started, But still have some work to do. I know I’m going to get there just One Day at a time. Thanks again for the advice & Support as always..🙏🏽

Good job bro maybe the confidence thing is with u wanting to be great at what u do and not wanting to make mistakes that’s the only thing I could see which is understandable
Hello Stephen! I appreciate the content you make and glad you’re enthusiastic about becoming a journeyman electrician. I can relate the same the goal because I am an apprentice too! Please don’t take this as hate I only want to you be become the best you can be. I’m not sure if your journeyman or foreman advised on doing things per the NEC. But there were a couple violations. 1. The minimum depth on UF cable is 24 inches, as far as I can see in the video you simply ran the wire under the house and only partially buried a small portion of the wire as you ran it through the pvc to complete your light fixture. It would’ve been better if your foreman supplied you with a sufficient amount of pvc to run it under the house and run normal stranded wire so the wire is protected from the elements and wild life. It’s only a matter of time before a squirrel starts to to eat away at that exposed UF cable casing at minimum an inconvenience the client to potentially causing a fire. 2nd violation pertains to strapping pvc. At minimum pvc needs to be strapped every 3ft. Again I’m not trying to hate on you I’m only looking out so you can be the best you can be.
@@fabiantaveras8458 Fabian I appreciate it, I don’t take it as hate at all.. I’ll definitely take a look in the code book & check it out.. I’ll also ask my journeyman about. From my understanding I thought it was ok not to have it in PVC if it’s under an area that’s closed off. I could be wrong I’ll definitely ask though! Appreciate the advice & One day at a time..🙏🏽
@@TheApprenticeToJourneyman personally I would have ran PVC conduit under the house to better protect the wires. If you're running UF cable and you aren't burying it then it kinda defeats the purpose of running UF to begin with.
