The way I see it, you got a major red flag about a person like Katie. The first time of "forgot my purse/wallet" yeah, ok, that does happen sometimes. The second time in a row is annoying, and I'd question their organizational skills and start getting on their back about paying me back. The third time in a row? There are at least 5 million gambling addicts in the US alone, most certainly more. I had 2 family members addicted to it(casino and online gambling). It’s horrible and has broken up both families.

Katie turned up on Anna's doorstep smelly, dishelved and in homeless rags in the middle of the night after getting rejected by so many rich and married men and began throwing things at Anna's house, accusing and cussing at her for ruining her marriage and her life. So Anna called the cops 👮♀️ 👮♂️ and it was a huge standoff for the next few hours until a fellow neighbor bravely loaded a well aimed tranquiler bullseye into her gluteus maximus. Currently Katie spends her days in jail drawing stick figures of Anna on the wall before cackling like a mad woman and smothering them in red paint over and over.
Why doesn’t Katie use venmo to pay for her food to the one who she is borrowing from ? Doesn’t need purse just phone. Btw venmo isn’t available in Canada .
The real one who loses out is the child. They are a mom group, meaning they all have kids. And from the mention of kindergarten, probably 5-year-olds. This is not a case of the punishment fitting the crime here. What would have been fitting is she winds up paying them back and she and her husband work on her clear gambling addiction and find their way together. Company retaliation is illegal, when it can be proven, and she has nothing to do with the company anyway, the company wasn’t damaged, so that shouldn’t have even been a blip on their radar. Sometimes these stories just get to me, even though I know they aren’t real.

I wholeheartedly agree. Here and on Reddit, including the commentaries from the Reddit readers, always jump to divorce. That isn’t the first place to go, but the very last course of action. Breaking up marriage and a home is disastrous emotionally and financially. It never should be a flippant decision.

Katie was wasting her money gambling. Occasionally ok, but not when it becomes addictive. She was waiting until she won the big money to pay them back. That doesn't happen too often, and if she had won big she just would have gambled that to try and win more. She really needs help as she has lost all she had. 😢

While Katie's husband is talking with his divorce lawyer he should ask a few questions about legal claims he can make against his job. I can't imagine demoting someone and cutting their pay without prior performance issues would be legal.

I actually don't agree with the husband getting in trouble because of the stupidity of his wife. I think he should have been told what was going on and then he could have gone from there. As for Katie, she deserved everything she got.

Katie turned up on Anna's doorstep smelly, dishelved and in homeless rags in the middle of the night after getting rejected by so many rich and married men and began throwing things at Anna's house, accusing and cussing at her for ruining her marriage and her life. So Anna called the cops 👮♀️ 👮♂️ and it was a huge standoff for the next few hours until a fellow neighbor bravely loaded a well aimed tranquiler bullseye into her gluteus maximus. Currently Katie spends her days in jail drawing stick figures of Anna on the wall before cackling like a mad woman and smothering them in red paint over and over.
Why doesn’t Katie use venmo to pay for her food to the one who she is borrowing from ? Doesn’t need purse just phone. Btw venmo isn’t available in Canada .

The real one who loses out is the child. They are a mom group, meaning they all have kids. And from the mention of kindergarten, probably 5-year-olds.
This is not a case of the punishment fitting the crime here. What would have been fitting is she winds up paying them back and she and her husband work on her clear gambling addiction and find their way together. Company retaliation is illegal, when it can be proven, and she has nothing to do with the company anyway, the company wasn’t damaged, so that shouldn’t have even been a blip on their radar.
Sometimes these stories just get to me, even though I know they aren’t real.
Ugh! I wish, just once in these stories they would have someone tell the pathetic leech exactly what they think of them.
