    Helen missed Friendship Lesson #1:
    To make and keep friends, you have to *_be_* a friend. Having a toxic personality does NOT help with that.

      After that, all of the other mothers in Ohio will be giving Helen cold and nasty glares everywhere she went, assuming she’ll do the same thing to either of them.
      Though I feel Helen’s family (after disowning Helen) should join Autumn too by telling everyone the truth about Helen. I can imagine Helen’s parents tearfully apologizing to Autumn for everything that Helen put her through, telling her that hey did nothing wrong in raising their now former daughter

      @@cecejamesable Actually, loosing everthing means you can do everything, as you have nothing to loose. "worm food" isn't wrong, but it's not only the bad person ending this way. "Extended suizide" is not uncommon in such a situation. "no hope" is the worst ending for everyone. It doesn't help if the person ends as worm food (we all end as such eventually anyways) or in prison, if she actually kills kids, ex-husband, some bystanders etc. before. Never ever bring a person in such a situation. At least, giver some hope - even if it is a false hope.

    • @Babbleplay
      @Babbleplay ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@oleurgast730Not the first time I've mentioned that; I agree. These text stories love to end with the a-hole of the story left with nothing, often homeless, living in a slum, or even trapped in an abusive situation. Leaving people with no hope and nothing to lose means they get desperate, and prison/punishment means little when it's better than the alternative.

    • @blazebardgames5939
      @blazebardgames5939 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I could be wrong because I'm only in my 30s, but I think it's just a new term for something that probably was around for a while longer. I figure it's not a new thing for PTA parents and school sports team parents to make friends with other parents who they see regularly at PTA meetings or their kids' sports games, but "mommy friends" is a fairly recent term for it.
      Edit: Also, the characters in this story are apparently all super rich, so it is very unusual for normal "mommy friends" to be going on expensive girls' trips together. Most "mommy friends" will usually just gather at one of their places for lunch and hang out. Maybe they'll go out to a restaurant for a meal and to hang out if they have a little bit of money to spare.

    And here we go with the jealous antagonist assuming the person she's mad at is poor/inept/beneath her in some way. She (It's always a gold digging female) hurls insults and all sorts of vile abuse that nobody in their right mind would actually do (but this is common in these tropes) and the victim plays it nice and cool, as always.
    Let's not forget the unbelievable plot twists that pop up. For example; how did Autumn recognize the girl's in-law's who suddenly showed up and were, gasp, having difficulty checking in when it was supposed to be Autumn and her two friends getting the shaft? Pitiful. Don't forget they always have a convenient same day divorce/lawyer friend-family member and are able to break the lease the same day.
    Finally, at the big reveal, the whining and groveling start from the bully trying to win back the good graces she was sort of in when she kept her mouth shut. Whoever is writing these short stories needs to get out there and experience a bit more of the world so they can stop giving us these cookie cutter stories.

    It's sad to see women like this exist even in the real world - but what is worse is how kids can be effected and dragged in. The following is mostly related to her attitude and how others can have the same form of spite for no real reason against their own made family:
    So many abused children from "mommy" winning them in court over divorce - solely out of their own selfish spite and vindictive rage to do as MUCH emotional Harm to their Ex whom in a lot of circumstances committed no sin to the relationship. Either simply didn't make enough money - was not as hot as their newest fling - or simply because the woman wanted to marry for the sake of social status and nothing else.
    Why these drama queens are raised to be like this, is hard to understand. Cause there is no co-related reasoning behind any of it. Either they made a massive Self-Inflated Ego, they were Born with it, or it got drop on them out of no where. No experience relates too it - no life lessons gained before or after created it - nothing! It's just such an absurd and beyond frustrating phenomenon.

Just because our kids go to the same school does not mean we automatically best friends or even friends for that matter. Because of your immature attitude, Helen. This conversation went on 3:24 too long. Why is Helen talking to OP instead of the other two women she wants to be friends with? Why would Helen think the hotel would cancel the reservation she didn't make? Even cheap hotels/motels don't cancel a reservation unless the person calling can prove they were the one who made and paid for the reservation. They even give confirmation numbers. It's hard to believe a high end expensive and well-known hotel would mess up a reservation. I can't understand why their son married Helen either and had kids with her. Helen must think this is a hallmark movie. No such dice. This never had to happen in the first place. Helen just had to behave as a mature adult.

    So here is my question for....Helen, is it? You apparently know all 3 of the women who were going on the girls' trip (and apparently, you know the other two rather well. Obviously, if there was only 3 of them on the trip, they would have booked the reservations under one of their names, right? So why didn't you give THEIR name, since they were the ones whose vacation you were trying to sabotage? It sounds to me like you were being petty and spiteful and Karma gave you a nice surprise because you SOMEHOW managed to ruin your in-laws vacation, instead. Your problem, my dear, is you fancy yourself this clever villain....but you're REALLY not that good at it. You don't think your plans through, and unfortunately, for you, you got caught red-handed.

    With an attitude like Helen's, what is there to like about her? Just because life's been rough for Helen, it doesn't mean she should be an AH. Helen talks like a Miss Goody Two Shoes.

    "This is just too hard for me to sit through." I'm quoting Autumn, but winter is coming and I'm outa here, Trope #12 of the Text Sillyverse, evil mom friend tries to cancel friend-who-isn't-really-a-friend's reservations. Nice voicework, though.

    Helen is a toxic person. She’s 7:40 manipulative and emotionally abusive. I feel sorry for her children.

    This video is similarly the Apple texts version of Netflix K-Drama “Celebrity” but with one hater being the villain against the rich, but noble hearted elite mom group.

    As outlandish or ridiculous as this story may be, I find it to be a solid representation of pettiness on social media.

    Autumn .. you have made some excellent points however there are a lot of people do not and never look at THEMSELVES ...
    I really wish that when people encounter someone like Helen that they had the resources to obtain a lawyer and defend themselves ...
    A lot of people in YT are experiencing this horrible behavior by someone with Helen like tendencies who apparently "don't like them"
