This means Ending B (or a, dont rember if its a or b) or C are canon. Franklin likely wouldnt mention or reference Michael if he was dead. Now we need a dlc involving Trevor so we know hes alive or dead to confirm which ending is canon
Lamar was the first friend any of us had in GTA Online and i'm glad the writers made it seem like the player was involved with our contacts as buddies instead of cold, distant business partners.
One other thing to mention, although it isnt shown here, is Lamar's success during the missions where you play as the Story Characters - Lamar is a faithful contact in Story and Online and his moment of triumph with LD Organics after 8 years of GTA was the best part of the DLC.
Simeon tries to make it seem like he was there but LD threw us our first opportunity when it arose, he saw us through the thick and thin whether it was hijacking lowriders or just doing a simple job for him.

@@mattbailey9894 I think the OP (Online Player) and Franklin's dynamic to Simeon were very similar, Simeon is a two-bit loan shark and we rise out of his level quickly.
There's never been a DLC centered around Simeon whereas - as far as the introduction is concerned - *Lamar talks us into coming to Los Santos in Online.* Without him? No Online, no jobs, races, heists, anything. Throw in Lowriders and Lamar is practically a main character.

I love how Franklin and Lamars relationship is just the same as before, even though Franklin got all of this success in his life, he keeps Lamar around because he matters to him. Rockstar should really get their shit together and start making more stuff like this, we want story driven action games, we don't fucking care about the amount of new flying cars with rocket launchers they release.

Thank you for putting this together. I didn't catch all the dialogue when I played through it myself, so this filled in the blanks. I took Dre on the scenic route through the hills so I could hear the whole song, and of course, rip it up with Dr. Dre! Felt like I was in my own music video, it was awesome!

This is awesome. Every cutscene in this is very well voice acted and animated, why has every other online update with voice acting really cringe compared to this? This shit feels like story mode almost.
Probably because everyone who was important at rockstar left and so the quality of stuff, especially the writing, has taken a huge hit

Pavel in Cayo Perico was a very well written character and his VA really delivered. There wasn't many cutscenes but it was still top notch.

it’s so nice to see that franklin is doing good, they need to make some new content updates for story mode showing how he got there and what it took, i think that would be interesting as hell to see and would honestly make the story line of events a hell of a lot clearer, the last three updates that they’ve put out for this game have been pretty good with the minor bugs and glitches here and there but for the most part they’ve seemed to be pretty positive.
Now I wonder how Michael and Trevor doing. I wouldn't be surprised if Trevor is around in another country, while Michael is keeping contact with Franklin for, uh, 'business' advices, and actual advices
