Wow dude this is so awesome! You're a huge inspiration & I love how you go about creating films, but with a super simple efficient kit (different from others on TH-cam). It's easy to think you need loads of cameras, lenses, accessories, but in reality you don't. Booyah!

I would reconsider your decision to get LASIK. I am no doctor, but this article from The New York Times (www.nytimes.com/2018/06/11/well/lasik-complications-vision.html ), and many other sources report quite a few worrying studies/facts:
"20 percent had dry eyes that were severe or worse than before surgery"
"Still, a year after surgery, the percentage of the roughly 350 patients who had mild difficulties driving at night had increased slightly to 20 percent, while the percentage with mild glare and halos had more than doubled to about 20 percent in each category. The percentage with mild dryness more than doubled to 40 percent."
"Scott Petty, 36, a 3-D artist from Houston who developed video games for a living, was diagnosed with corneal ectasia six months after having Lasik surgery.
His sight has continued to deteriorate, even after he underwent a new procedure called corneal cross-linking to strengthen his cornea. He is in so much pain that he is “almost suicidal,” he said. “It’s like hot grease is in my eyes, 24-7. I pretty much have to admit my career is over.”
"Indeed, the F.D.A.’s new clinical trial, carried out with the National Eye Institute and the Navy Refractive Surgery Center and published last year, was the first to report that people who did not have dry eyes or visual aberrations before Lasik were at high risk for developing these problems: 28 percent of these participants developed dry eyes after surgery, and 45 percent reported a new visual aberration three months after surgery.
But many of the trial’s 574 participants reported having visual aberrations and dry eyes before surgery, and the study concluded that Lasik slightly reduced the prevalence of these problems.
Three months after surgery, however, glare, halos and double vision were common, affecting 50 to 60 percent of all patients, with up to 5 percent characterizing them as “very” or “extremely” bothersome.
Even after six months, some 41 percent of patients reported visual aberrations, with nearly 2 percent - or one in 50 - saying the symptoms presented “a lot of difficulty” or “so much difficulty that I can no longer do some of my usual activities.” And one-quarter of the patients followed six months had mild to severe dry eyes."
I have switched to contacts from glasses about a month ago and I absolutely love them compared to eyeglasses. I have a friend who is a heart surgeon and he prefers to wear glasses because he doesn't trust LASIK. My eye doctor and her nurse both wear glasses, so I think that speaks for itself. However, my father had his eyes done 20 years ago using an older method and reports no problems whatsoever. Many people don't have any problems. But some, for example the 3D artist want to kill themselves from the pain of the surgery. Based on these statistics and the anecdotal evidence from people I know, I would stay away from it.
      I hope this helps!

@@Teddy-vs5rw I got lasic around 5 years ago and i love how it just eliminates a problem in one day. Glasses didnt work well for sports and I never started wearing contacts either, i just couldnt get the damn thing in my eye consistently. I'd say my eye sight is pretty much crystal clear to this day, however i do have some haloing that im not sure was there before the surgery, wish i would have thought about more exactly how it felt before and if it did get worse after.

I got Lasik about 7 years ago and still have 20/15 vision. Best $5000 I ever spent. No issues. I was a prepper at the time and concerned about being able to survive the apocalypse with thick fragile glasses... not a prepper anymore and this apocalypse is pretty lame so far, but I wouldn't take back the Lasik!

If you’re ever down in Cornwall UK, hit me up and we’d be happy to give you a spot to crash for a couple of nights - maybe even go on a bicycle tour around the south! Take care and Godspeed :)

I bought a few thicker towels as a scarf or blanket. Its 100% cotton, i folded it into the shapes of a burrito, perfect for travel. Bed Bath & Beyond sells it on thier website under beach towels for 4 times higher, around $25? I just love super thin 100%cotton ,the more waah, the softer it gets

Inspiring! Did you ever think about to find a place to settle down? Or the road is your long life choice?

Very minimalist. Noticed no polos or button ups, and besides the sweats and hoodie nothing else for warmth. Just travelling in places just shy of the equator eh? (As someone from Canada I've found it hard to be minimalist. Also how often do you wash your clothes? I'm very curious.

Philips One Blade is the best and more compact shaver that exist, and the recharge battery is the best i have seen, it lasts for 1 month

Cool, I’m wondering how much it all weighs. Your hiking gear must be a bit different, right?
