Speaking of bullets, I hand load, and the biggest denominators on dropping deer are bullet construction and shot placement. I like Nosler Ballistic Tips for deer within 400 yards.
I bought a tikka lite 6.5 creedmoor last year. Shot a buck with it opening morning......that damn deer ran about 50 yards and didn't bleed a lick. Nice and lite I like the gun but if that's how it's gonna be then the old 06 comin back out.
That welder does look very close to a Miller 211. Also I’ve hunted with my granddads 30/30 a few times it’s officially retired until my 9 year old boy is a little bigger. A few weeks ago I got him a Savage axis in 350 legend, super low recoil good 200 yard and under deer rifle he loves it!!!

Clay the New 6.8 Western caliber is a helluva good caliber for Deer,Boar,Elk, mule deer and anything in between and they have a lot of knock down power with really good accuracy at long range.. Also has Hamilton got any of the New Super Size Epic Boxes in yet? Our local dealer has i believe 8 of them and he said they are selling extremely well and they are a damn nice looking Box for sure,, I seen the lime green as metal flake silver one a few days ago and I wanted to find out how much it was but I was too damn scared to ask LOL 😂

We are limited to shotgun and pistol only in southern MN. That being said you hit um with that 1 oz 12 gauge slug and they don't go far that's for sure. I've also shot 2 deer with my 500 s&w magnum revolver and it does the trick as well.

I’ve fussed about Snap-On quality. I had an inspection light from them that died in my hot garage after a really hot summer here in the Nevada desert. It got really dim to the point of being useless. I have a bunch of those blue lights from Harbor Freight that use to be FREE and not one of them has died but my over $100 Snap-On inspection light got really dim and never came back… 🙁

Now I’m scared to keep any cordless tool in my garage during the summer that’s worth anything so I got one of those stackable rolling toolbox setups and I store any tool that takes a battery in it and I keep it all in my air conditioned house during the summer.

I know this is random, not a question about lights but do you recommend a certain Snap On tool for removing stripped Toyota wheel locks? I have the key for it but it’s stripped out.
Why does it have to be a Snap On tool? (Even if it has their name on it, doesn’t mean they make it, they rebrand tools also but you pay a much higher price for it because it says Snap On)
@@KoonTrucking I tend too stick with brands I have used and liked before(even if they cost more, I’ll keep saving and with things other than tools as well). I have had Snap On tools before(even though I’m not a mechanic) and loved them. Im a hvac installer. My biggest brand loyalty is Milwaukee. Have thousands of dollars in their tools. It doesn’t necessarily have to be Snap On brand. I didn’t know they rebranded tools. Lately things have been changing at my current workplace and a automotive technician has been my dream job so been watching lots of automotive videos(on your channel and other channels). Thanks for your response.
