Ugh missing ALL the Italy food! I went pre pandemic and probably ate gelato 2x a day and it was amazing. Need to check out Rome tho!

Was it easy navigating the train system? Do you recommend getting train tickets in advance? I'm going in July and nervous

Ciao.

i only used the metro once but it was fairly easy to navigate! they also have kiosks at the subway stations where you can buy tickets so you don’t need to buy it in advance 😊
for train tickets to another city, i would try to buy those in advance at least a couple days before because it can get expensive and arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before so you can find your platform!

You ate at good places, but I don’t think any Roman would consider that the best Carbonara in the city

@@heyytheresmile, It’s hard to say what is the “best” Carbonara in Roma, especially if you only spend a few days there. I live for part of the year in Roma and I can’t say definitively, but amongst the best are Roscioli, Luciano, and Romanè. Also, check out Vincenzo’s Plate- he visited some good ones.
