While watching this, I was eating 2 packs of Jin ramen mild and a small bowl of squash and string beans in coconut cream over rice. I was so full after drinking 1/2 a liter of pepsi after the meal. I always watch Mikey and other food vloggers while eating to make my food more appetizing.

I never realized that Pequod's has a second location. Looks like the one in the video is the one in Morton Grove. The address listed in the description is the main location, and not the one in the video. That said, Pequod's is one of my favorite pizza places in the world. Whenever I'm in Chicago and want a deep dish, I always go to Pequod's. The crust is just caramelized cheese, and is what really elevates the pizza. Every time I go, I also ask for sausage as one of the toppings, as I was told the sausage is from a house made recipe, and it goes well with any other toppings there.
Yeah, Pequod's is almost like Detroit pizza and Chicago pizza fusion. So good.

I had no idea there was a location in the burbs either!
The Morton Grove location is the original. It was opened by Burt Katz in 1970s. The Chicago location opened much later.
BTW Burt sold Pequods and opened up Burt's Place later on. That's the deep dish that Anthony Bourdain ate. I was lucky enough to visit Burt's Place twice before he passed in 2016.

that looks like the perfect deep dish! in between that ridiculous deep dish and thin. love how well done it is and alost looks like you could pick it up and the topping are on top, i hate when the meat is below as it never gets crispy!

Ahhhh you went to Mitsuwa! It's our family's favorite place to visit in the Chicago area. Honestly, the pork and rice bowl is my fave!

Yooo! No joke- Back in high school I used to watch your videos of eating around Asia AT Pequod's Pizza while I'd get the lunch special... Now I'm living in Japan and watching you eat Pequod's Pizza... my how the table's have turned lol. I used to grab boba at Avalanche Bubble Tea next store for the drive home too... And then seeing you go to Mitsuwa! lol you're pretty much reanacting my high school years... But pro-tip: Tensuke Market down the street from Mitsuwa give's you much more bang for your buck at their food-court...
Also- the Ramen you got at Mitsuwa is from a chain called Santoka- which started in Asahikawa, Hokkaido- a 1/2 hour from where I live. If you ever come to Hokkaido again- Visit Ramen Aoba and Ramen Midzuno- to round out the holy trinity of Asahikawa ramen shops
If you guys watched that Birria Ramen part and live near Garden Grove CA, a place just opened up in the last year called Birria El Bandido
They offer the same instant Ramen birria and birria quesatacos. Really really good.
