This is the fifth video of our Amritsar, Jammu & Kashmir travel vlog series.
In this video we visit Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra which is a holy city popular for Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. Vaishno Devi (also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta, Ambe and Vaishnavi) is a manifestation of the Hindu Mother Goddess, Durga or Adi Shakti. The words "Maa" and "Mata" are commonly used in India for mother, and thus are often heavily used in connection with Vaishno Devi. Vaishnavi took avatar from the combined energies of Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati.
In this video we travel from Amritsar, Punjab to Katra, Jammu & Kashmir by train. We boarded the 19415 / Ahmedabad - Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express from Amritsar and reached Katra the next morning.
At Katra we also review our hotel and then visit the nearby Yatra Parchi counter and share the details and experience along the way.
