omg i was thinking this while watching them, i'm a bit of a newbie and this was my first time watching them all, but i have to say there's such a split in season 4 because through the first half Kitty is pure evil but then in the last half she's like a completely different character...and none of the other cast including Marley herself ever remotely mention what Kitty does and gloss over it

he texted and more with sebastian though? for a lot longer than a week? kurt allowed a man to compliment him over text. blaine chatted with sebastian for months online and through texts/calls, allowed sebastian to hit on him in front of kurt, heard kurt say he didn’t like sebastian, danced with him all night, and still tried to hide the fact that he was secretly talking to sebastian from kurt months after all that. he got upset because he was being hypocritical, not because it’s a value he actually has lmao. the cheating tracks with his previous actions

Season four had so much potential. "The New Rachel" was a really good season premiere, they did pretty good balancing the New York and Ohio scenes, it felt like a season two episode. Sadly, the next episodes were a disappointment: the writers mocking Britney Spears, a stupid presidential debate no one cared about, Blaine cheating on Kurt and playing the victim card, BRAM, the bizarre society of superheroes episode, Marley's eating disorder being just a plot device, ... Glee was such a cultural reset that even after all these years, it still hurts what a mess it became after season three 😭
Mike’s Mic and Trin Lovell’s Glee videos were my most anticipated videos possibly ever and we got them within a month of each other and I’ve never been happier
i’m FULLY convinced that b**ke j***er got the writers to mess with jake and marley’s plotline in season 5 because of his irl relationship with melissa. looking back i like the idea of jake with marley bc compared to ryder and marley it’s less of a parallel to finchel (but i fully did want ryder with marley when the show was still airing, even with his whole “nice guy” schtick)

To answer your question on getting an injury during a show choir performance: I was in a competitive show choir for six years and we’ve competed locally and internationally. Not once have I ever heard/encountered a disqualification due to someone injuring themselves during a performance. In fact, one time I tripped right before going on stage and had visible bleeding wounds on my knees. No one batted an eye.

after about 10 minutes of Googling state show choir competition rules and regulations it is illegal to suspend or disqualify team if someone faints on stage. If that person was sick beforehand they would automatically be dropped depending on if the team can still fulfill the number of teammates required by state. The most that would realistically happen to them is that they would have to try and continue while Marley's body was on stage and someone could get her escorted off.

i've realized trin releases these glee best and worst episodes once a year. As much as i wanted you to release reaction vids to all the seasons immediately after you started making them, watching this today just feels very nostalgic and it's been a really nice constant for the past 3 yrs
If someone faints or is injured on stage in choir/dance performances, you as someone else performing legit have to ignore them. Someone off stage will get them. they always tell people if you feel faint just sit down you won't get in trouble stopping performing, rather that then falling over and hurting yourself or others. They got disqualified because everyone ran off stage to help vs someone back stage handling it. They honestly never spoke about what to do in emergencies which always bothered me about the show as someone who did musical theatre/choir they would bring it up somewhat frequently what to do if something bad were to happen and how to handle it.
I have watched literally every single moment of glee multiple times and I still LOVE lets have a kiki/turkey lurkey time. I am ready to throw hands for this opinion dead ass.

i cant remember where it was said but i swear someone confirmed that blake would get really jealous of melissa and jacob filming together so he got the writers to end their relationship storyline with the cheating

To answer your question on getting an injury during a show choir performance:
I was in a competitive show choir for six years and we’ve competed locally and internationally. Not once have I ever heard/encountered a disqualification due to someone injuring themselves during a performance. In fact, one time I tripped right before going on stage and had visible bleeding wounds on my knees. No one batted an eye.
to be fair, new directions singing oppa Gangan style is probably the mist realistic thing on the show. every school did a Performance of that school
Also the amount of time mr shue made his students do his job for him😭 every other week he has a literal child taking over for him
the hatred for Brody within the show always made me uncomfortable because there's nothing wrong with being a sex worker and it's VILLAINIZED SO MUCH by the characters.

whenever i hear “it’s turkey lurkey time” it triggers my flight or fight response
after about 10 minutes of Googling state show choir competition rules and regulations it is illegal to suspend or disqualify team if someone faints on stage. If that person was sick beforehand they would automatically be dropped depending on if the team can still fulfill the number of teammates required by state. The most that would realistically happen to them is that they would have to try and continue while Marley's body was on stage and someone could get her escorted off.
but according to the show, the “show choir rule” they broke was they all LEFT, not that marley fainted.

If someone faints or is injured on stage in choir/dance performances, you as someone else performing legit have to ignore them. Someone off stage will get them. they always tell people if you feel faint just sit down you won't get in trouble stopping performing, rather that then falling over and hurting yourself or others. They got disqualified because everyone ran off stage to help vs someone back stage handling it. They honestly never spoke about what to do in emergencies which always bothered me about the show as someone who did musical theatre/choir they would bring it up somewhat frequently what to do if something bad were to happen and how to handle it.
