I once fell asleep on a plane, during a storm, where there was a lot of jostling happening; and when I woke up, I had slumped onto the shoulder of the Japanese business man who was sitting next to me. I mean, I was really snuggled in there. I was exhausted and just went totally out. He was so nice about it. I apologized, and he made me feel like he was not upset at all.

I can relate!!! 🤣 same thing happened to me. But with a mom. Was on a bus ride from university to home, and i was so tired that day, that i literally blacked out. When i woke up, i found myself leaning on the shoulder of a woman. Between us is her young daughter sleeping with her head on the moms lap. I was still groggy trying to sit straight and saying a quiet and panicked "im sorry" to her but she chuckles and pats me on the shoulder, says it's ok and muses that it made her feel like what it'll be like one day when her daughter's grown up. 😅
You are lucky, I once fell asleep and lean my head on middle age man shoulder without knowing. I was so tired at that time and the man keeps jerking his shoulder to wake me up, I was sooo tired that I wake up for 1 second and continued to fall asleep and my head landed on his shoulder again. And he keeps jerking his shoulder and I keep waking up and fell asleep yet again on his shoulder, this happens for maybe five minutes until he can’t take it anymore and jerk his shoulder real hard, I was shock and my sleepiness and tiredness diminished after that albeit a liitle bit lol.
This happened to me once when I was a kid... While travelling in a bus, I dozed off and was leaning on a man's shoulder. The poor man sat in the same position for almost 2-3 hours so that I could sleep well... The story still embarrasses me, but at the same time warms me that there is still hope for humanity yet.

I once leaned my head on a woman’s shoulder who was sitting next to me on the bus when I was a kid. I thought she was my mom and I don’t remember why. She then faced me and started laughing. I was so embarrassed😭 my mom was sitting in the other seat

Throughout my entire high school years, I took the bus to and from school every single day. I’ve had many experiences with falling asleep on people by accident and having people fall asleep on me. There’s a kind of joy to it when you’re on the receiving end, and yet, there’s some otherworldly level of embarrassment when you’re the one doing it. Regardless, it’s nice of those who allow it out of the kindness of their hearts, and it puts a smile on my face when I can share that same kindness with others.

In 5th grade I would unknowingly fall asleep on the shoulder of this girl who sat beside me and it was the same for my brother except a guy sat beside him.. (we were like 7 kids sitting across each other) and although they never said anything directly to us, they would always make fun of us for it:/ I would get so embarrassed, I started forcing myself awake everytime but then they would laugh at my brother in front of me which pissed me off but then eventually we switched to a bus.. over there a little girl sat beside me, she would drift off with her little head bouncing around, it looked so uncomfortable so I would always lend her my shoulder to sleep on, it was nice:)
Well.. My High School years are going with online classes..lol
My online classes are going on since I was in class 9 (they just call us to give final exams otherwise other exams are also online)
I'm in 10th class now and my final exams are coming in March :)
I have never travelled alone like that in metro or in anything else..
So, I have never experienced that..😂

I love these social experiences because they show us that the world still have mercy and good people
yeah humans are connected in such a way that emphasizes too much negativity and the worst extremes but once you consider your own immediate surroundings it doesn't seem so bad.

i always get so surprised when watching videos like this of young kids traveling alone without a family member, i’m like where are your parents? aren’t they worried u may get kidnapped or something?? but i guess it’s more normal and safer in South Korea than here in the united states, crazy.
I mean, it is WAY safer, but it seems she’s only going to school, walking to & from school alone as kids isn’t really uncommon, at least in Ohio😭😭
In my suburb we have junkies, homeless camps, muggings, sexual and physical assaults etc.
20 mins drive away to another suburb, it's so safe for children that they ride their bikes unsupervised and just walk down the road to the playground and shops and even walk to school on their own.
There are good and bad places throughout the world, sometimes you just can't afford to pay for the good places.

Imagine living in a country where it's totally normal to have children use public transportation unattended and be totally safe and even helped by strangers along the way.
In my country tons of bad shit could happen. Like even if your kid study in a school that is in the same neighborhood, only ten minutes from home by foot and no bus needed at all, the parent must take them to school and back home to make sure nothing will happen.
Hah i cant even go to buy grocery alone over a few streets that how bad it is

I can relate so much to this, when i was like 7-8 years old i once fell asleep in the bus in Turkey on vacation with atleast 4-5 hour ride when a stranger was sitting next to me and my head just fell on his shoulder. My mother wanted to wake me up and thought i'd bother him but he waved at her to just leave me be. It was so wholesome of this stranger and i won't forget that special memory.

That's why it's important to treat others well, I know it's not possible all the time, but, if a person has nothing to do with how you feel, no reason to bring them down, too.

I remembered when I was in my freshman in high school, our school was right beside of another university. I rode a public jeepney to go home. I remembered sitting beside with a college student from the university beside ours. Going home would take an hour and a half so I fell asleep. I didn't know that I was leaning on her shoulder. She woke me up by patting my head and saying "we're here". I apologized and said my thanks. She just smiled back. The next day, we saw each other again going to school. At first we were just doing eye contacts but it seems her schedule was the same as mine so we saw each other again going home and then I fell asleep on her shoulder again, this time she had her hand hold my head so it wouldn't fall off. I woke up to her brushing my hair softly until she patted and said the same words "we're here" with a smile. She was really kind. I don't know where she is rn but I hope she's doing fine and successful :)

Fell asleep on a friend of mine in middle school while on a bus ride for a band trip. It was a good couple hours that I was just nestled on her and she just sat still and let me sleep. Even ended up using my phone to call my mom to let her know we were almost at the school so she could come pick me up. Still best friends with her almost 10 years running
Even tho she is an actress it still must be comforting for the kid to hear kind and reassuring words from the adults to not worry abt studying and such

I was in an airplane and it was super heated in there and we were stuck for 30 mins just sitting there and my sister and I fainted from the heat. I woke up and the Korean man next to me noticed that I woke up with sweat on my forehead and started turning on the air conditioning for me and started fanning me. It was so nice of him 🥺 I was mostly leaning toward his side so took up the arm space and he was so chill and concerned for my sister and I

어릴 때 놀아라 놀아라 해도 공부를 해야해서 못 논 시간이 많은데 지금보면 후회됨 후회하고 있는 내가 애기들한테 놀아라 놀아라 해도 안놈 애기들도 크고나서야 알겠지..그 어른도 후회하다가 해준말이라는 걸…하고 싶은 거 안해보는게 얼마나 후회되는지..후회해도 시간은 안돌아오더라! 지금도 쉬엄쉬엄 놀아도 된다! 더 커서 그때 또 후회하지마라! 남는 건 후회뿐인 삶 될거다 행복해라!!!

Omygod they're so respectful they are so respectful man that's the reason why i love korean they are so respective towards any human not only girls to boys also i mean who can not love korean if they know there hospitality, humanity, and respectful way of talking and their care i love them .. this little kid is so good at respect also, she's literally saying sorry,thankyou,good bye, and talking to them with respect I'm in love with this child too ❤️
