this entire interaction is so wholesome but xiao's surprise when he saw it was zhongli and not hu tao flying the kite was precious. he reacted like an excited kid

Here's a neat bit of speculation for you all. Xiao can't teleport. At least, not in a conventional manner maybe Im overthinking things, but it seems like wherever he's teleporting to and from has to have shade. Even when he encounters Zhongli, he seems to be exactly where his shadow is. I think he can move through a space between shadows.

I wonder if miHoyo decide to drop some Yaksha lore this time around. Or at least learned about Bosacious, Bonanus and Indrarias as well.
actually, (not exactly lantern rite though) with chenyu vale being added in, there's a cave near the borders of mt. aocang that im 99% sure is yaksha lore! there's a polearm with an inscription reading along the lines of "having seen two friends fight" and is the calamity queller polearm which is theorized to have belonged to bosacius. i suspect bosacius left it there after the hydro and geo yaksha killed each other leaving only him and xiao. i cant remember the exact lines but i'm incredibly sure it's related to the yakshas. (i gotta get any and all crumbs of them at all costs)
