This session was recorded live in February 2022 at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse in Metuchen, New Jersey. The schoolhouse is filled with history: built in 1807 as a single room school, it has been maintained by the Borough Improvement League of Metuchen. It's a small and intimate multi-purpose venue with a great vibe; perfect for this session. So, we packed up our entire recording studio and moved it into the schoolhouse - just the band and a small camera crew - and hit record.

All y'alls version of Time To Pretend is my favorite version of that song ever.
You have an original from a few years back that reminds of the exact movements and moments of walking home from work after getting off the bus in winter. My walk home was a half mile. Sodium orange old school streetlights all the way.
There was something about the quality and nature of the lighting that made me feel utterly bereft and absolutely alone. Lonesome. That yellow, orange light fucked with my head hard.
Every winter night - well 5 out of 7 - I knew I would face that trudge home. It was daunting.
