I think you did an awesome job putting this together. You covered a lot of details that were not mentioned before. Thanks for sharing this and doing the research.
I love the turquoise monogram and the pink/fuchsia one too. Wish it was going to be one more bags. Would love a speedy 20 in the turquoise or pink. Disappointed to hear that you have to be specially offered the speedy 25 turquoise bag and also it has a very high price point.
I’m not such a fan of the various ready to wear styles they seem a bit loud for my taste but the new colorful speedy’s are absolutely gorgeous and I love them especially the pink and turquoise ones 🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵
I actually like the monogram dust 😅 i think it would be practical, its subtle and the materials look already worn so I dont have to worry damaging it or cry because of wear and tear, i just like the darker version of monogram
I actually really like the LV-buffalo check speedy 20. I’ve been waffling about getting the damier ebene; might wait to see this in person! Great content, as always! Thank you ❤
Relaxed, adventurous, whimsical . . was surprised that I enjoyed so much. However, the price point on the turquoise Speedy stopped me cold. Have L.A. decal on my Speedy that is turquoise w/palm trees & will have to be happy with that. - Lorraine 👜💙💙🌴🌴☺
I like the dusty monogram! I don’t think vintage canvas looks like that at all! The canvas is usually in tact. I think the braided or woven women’s collection look most like this. I always wear that with my native or Western looks.
I do love a majority of this collection. I would grab the purple speedy 25 if I could afford it and it was offered to me. I am a bit of a Western connoisseur since I showed western pleasure horses. The clothing is kind of over the top, bit then again, it is runway.
Ohh yes! Those speedy colors are gorgeous this season! Too bad they’re so pricey, but money saved I guess. 🤷♀️ And how cool that you used to show horses! 🐴
It’s not really my aesthetic either, Dani. 😆 That’s a great point about Damier buffalo, especially the red & black. I don’t look at that and immediately think cowboy.
I love buffalo print coach outlet did a Buffalo collecation I never been so happy for new collection even someone love coach not fan of coach is doing for 2024 it funny my mom always tell too keep my LV clean now we have dust now it good for someone like me but it not for me
I thought the show was a mess. It’s great to have input and elements from First Nations people but the way this was done was waaay OTT and for me, distracted rather than showcased those items. It’s like he threw everything at it in one hit and assaulted our senses rather than inviting us in with special pieces and the history behind them. You really have to take time to find the good stuff. Maybe it easily speaks to Americans, Canadians and a few South American countries but outside of that, who knows?
You’re certainly right - Pharrell and minimalism don’t seem to go together. 😆 i agree with your assessment about not showcasing the pieces. It would have been nice to see more toned down RTW and let the bags shine, or vice versa. It was a lot to take in at once.
I think you have to be American to get it but in some aspects Black American because we wore this look in the early 90’s. Cowboy belts, fringes, and native prints. I have pictures as a teenager.
@YaquarahVintageBags: “But it’s not as if he didn’t try to tell a story. Pharrell talked to reporters about what inspired the show, stating that most of the time cowboys are presented as white males, when in reality there is a long lineage of Black and Indigenous cowboys”. No doubt about that. I think the issue here is it was out of place for Louis Vuitton. Like to out there for them. “And maybe that’s all LVMH wants-a brand ambassador who has celebrity friends and makes good accessories. Traditionally, accessories account for most of a luxury brand’s sales, and apparently Pharrell’s are selling like hotcakes despite the very high price points. He’s the most ideal billboard for the collection”.

He is doing more than what I see in the women’s collection lately. Love his creativity ❤
He said although this is a menswear line, he created it for humans to wear. That’s why women were in his show as well.
I love most of the pieces he did. Waiting to see more creativity from the women’s collections. Great video of the collection.
Thanks Renee! Glad you enjoyed it. ❤️
“Cowmooflage” 🐮 😂😂😂.. Great video and thank you for all the effort putting it together so beautifully!
Haha I can’t get over that name. 🤣 so happy to hear you enjoyed the video!! ❤️❤️

@wye, Louis Vuttion to me, is going to much into Hermes territory to me with this. I just shake my head.
While LV will always keep their “entry level” pieces, they are for sure seeking more exclusivity with new/special releases.

Yesss, the colors this season are amazing!! 🩷💜🩵
I love some of these pieces. Especially a black bag in the beginning and the detail on the tongue of those boots.
Yes, lots of very intricate details in this collection! ❤️

Great video! Loved the show and collection. 😍
Thanks Hazel! It’s certainly a fun collection!

Ohh yes! That would be a great alternative to the DE! ❤️

Those Speedy prices are certainly hard to swallow! 😳 Your Speedy sounds beautiful! 🌴🩵
@@LulaWestLuxe Thank you Lula; you're so kind. World Tour w/blk handles & decals - places visited. 🌎🏝🗼
I found if fun and creative. I am in lust with some of the handbags and coats, and some of the accessories ❤
It was certainly a fun collection! ❤️ which pieces do you like?
Love this collection. Love the Western vibe
Me too! Loved the Native American influences.
What justifies the price of the blue and pink speedys ?aren’t they canvas ? I have been dreaming of barbie pink speedy ,but my gosh that hefty price
Those Speedies are in leather. Still crazy expensive, but at least you aren’t getting canvas.

That’s a great point! You’re right they aren’t exactly the same. Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Do you think they will be featuring the cowboy hats featured in the show?
I think so! I haven’t seen info yet on which hats will be produced, but I bet they will be.
I loved it

Really not into the cowboy aesthetic 😅 it is very polarising and gonna be really hard to style for me😊
I think we could stretch to the odd Damier Buffalo in winter as it would lend itself to a country aesthetic we do have here in Aus.
@@AnUrbanGypsy that didn’t cross my mind 😅😊

Haha, yes now we’re getting dusty LVs! 🤣🤣 sounds like your mom wouldn’t like it, too! It’s a cool concept, but not my style.
Tacky

I live in Texas so not very impressed. Nothing too original in the designs actually.
