    beginner tip! I found it helpful to add a different color cord when filling in the gaps. This helped me keep track of how the cord was supposed to look in contrast with the anchor AND the end result was a cool striped pattern!

    hi there! I'm wondering what you mean by "place it on the string as well with the longer end of the side" for the 200cm cord at 1:29

    Great video! When you’ve finished doing the knots, is there any special way you tie off the cord before cutting the tails? Or will it hold itself and not unravel? Thank you!

    Hello! How many extra larks knot strings did you end up attaching all together? I’m going to try this with 2mm cord. Thanks!

    How do you figure how long the cords should be if you want a larger "base", like 8"?

    I love this. Thanks for the tutorial. My coaster isn't laying flat, its a bit raised on the outside. Any tips on what I've done wrong to cause that? Thank you ☺️

    • @MacramePrincess
      @MacramePrincess  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It means you needed to add additional cords more frequently (every time you feel the form would be compromised otherwise) 🙂

    Hello, I see that you have a lot of leftover cord when you finish your coaster... would it be better if I use shorter size cords instead of what you said on your video that way I have less cord wasted? Thank you for your video, loved it, and beautiful nails!💗

    • @MacramePrincess
      @MacramePrincess  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you ❤️ yes, you can use shorter size cords or make the main cord longer. Like this you’ll have a bigger coaster

      @@MacramePrincess hi,can you give the measurement of cords for this sized coasters?

    Hi! Can I make this project with 5mm cord?

    • @reneehoward
      @reneehoward 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, but it will be bulkier/taller and your item may not balance in it as well as something flatter. Guessing you’ll use less cord lefty as well.

  • @b.folsom7475
    @b.folsom7475 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    How many other pieces of cord do you add in to fill in the gaps?

    • @MacramePrincess
      @MacramePrincess  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can’t tell the exact number. You should add it every time you feel like you cannot connect the knots without compromising the flat form of the coaster. At the begging it might be every second knot, further to the end I did it much less

  • @annawillman1368

      It happens when you weren’t adding enough extra cords 🙂
