- After a long long buying decision headache I came down to buy the Canon Pixma Pro-200. I bought it mainly for my upcoming sticker business. And so far I don't regret it at all.

I did a lot of research and found out the pro 200 fits the best for me and for the products I want to make. I’m getting mine next month (hoping for a good Black Friday sale)

And yet, pigment ink is better for stickers due to it's water, scratch and UV resistance. Of course when you go even more pro, solvent or eco-solvent printers are even better pick, although already very pricey. I'm now in the same boat and I will get pigment based printer to replace my dye based for sticker business :)

Thank you! This was very helpful. Are you still enjoying this printer? Has it been an ink hog? I’ve tried Epson Eco tank and Canon pixma G6020 and I don’t think I like pigment ink. It looks extremely washed out most of the time. The blacks look especially bad. I want to upgrade to the pro 200, but I worry if it will give me the results I want. Do you find your blacks to be very bold? Have you tried it with matte paper or use only glossy?
that is why I purchased the PRO-200 Print for home and indoor photography
I am also getting a Canon Prograf TC20 for the big stuff.

why does someone who mainly prints stickers buy a canon pro 200? sry but makes no sense
Hi, great note. Well Im also a very passionate photographer, and already had printed photos from our recent family trip. Loving it btw :-)
I didnt want to compromise on the print quality of sticker as I want to sell them. Ofc it would be lovely to get something like Graphtec that also cuts BUT that is in another price dimension for starting.
I am serious about my sticker printing so I buy the best affordable equipment.
Just reprint your images once more before you die
