The commentary is sublime! How you can keep talking in such detail about whats going on while still maintaining concentration on the race is amazing!
p.s A little bit of saliva rubbed on the lenses should stop the fogging, works for goggles when diving ;)
Or a small amount of hand soap if you don't like the idea of saliva on your lenses :)

Because of this video, I purchased the season pass in Assetto Corsa today, and I absolutely cannot stop driving this car. It is an absolute blast around Monza with 15 of the same cars. Great content as usual, Jimmy.

I have an Oculus and I never had mine fog up on me. I have the after market face pads that are cloth it might help it breath more !!

Breath deeply in through the nose, i find that helps draw fresh air into the headset and clears the fog... could just be my big nose though -_-
VR is nice and all, but is there any chance to have standings also as separate window, like facecam and pedals?

Mark O it is. Makes u a way better driver. I picked up sim racing 2 months ago and already getting top5 with a b and s class guys left and right. I attribute that to the headset and awesome wheel
@@waqidj i wouldnt say it makes you better at driving a car fast but it definitely makes you better at the racing aspect of driving a car fast.

@@waqidj Since I've switched to VR, I've become far more consistent. Hitting apexes and brake points is soo much easier.
Ended up subbing. Was thrown off by the commentary at first, but as the race went on, I really warmed to your style, really sells the action and puts me right there. Felt like I was watching the real thing!

You're the one that convinced me to go vr, and I love it. But I may be struggling with my GTX 1060. I get 40 fps avg at 1.8 pixel density, curious what your AC density is set to and if you find it as low res as I do, with a constant focus 50-100m up the road. I'm about 20 hours in, and I've adjusted, but I'm wondering if $1000 in a gtx1080 will do anything about it.
Derek Hartley I'd say your pixel density is far too high. I run 1.2 at the most with a 1080ti in order to maintain 90fps. VR either wants a solid 45 or solid 90 frames, otherwise you get stutters.
New nVidia consumer cards are expected early next year. That ought to drop the price of the 1080s. I have a 1070 and it is great in PCars2 and iRacing. Can struggle in RF2 beta on some tracks. Haven't tried AC yet. Also agree that 1.8 is high. I run 1 or 1.2...depending on whether I remember to change back after RF 2.

Run no supersample and try msaa aa instead

I like your videos but have you made one addressing the screen door effect, cause I DONT LIKE PC2 in VR. Just bought Asseto to see if that's better.
I had to have a little desktop fan mounted under the wheel blowing up towards the face to get airflow under the nose. Fogging up is a real shit , even worse with glasses.
Sheene's is may favorite corner in the entire world. It's fun with literally any type of car, Porsches especially.

hey jimmy, I have been having problems with project cars 2. every car in my game feels like it has a undrivable amount of over steer. i cant push the cars at all without losing the car in slow or fast corners. any ideas?
Ben Lyda I find the default “loose” setups horrid for most cars in the game, try switching to the default “stable” setups, I also find abs and tc can make my car spin way easier under heavy braking
