It's a cylinder with a gripper on the end, attached to a gantry, driven by a belt and servo. Saying it's just a cylinder leaves out all the other components of the robot.
Its a trainer, Most PLC manufacturers have this one, to demonstrate, inductive and capacitance reactance sensors used by the controller, and programming training, most importantly handshaking, As well as motor control, with an intelligent function control module, so it veries, The one i trained on was by Amatrol, it was around 30,000, but you could make one way cheaper, especially if you use pneumatic components, as a primary drive system. This one if like the one i trained on is servo driven, wich is much more expensive, requires other components to operate.
This is an automation trainer, Made by other companies such as Amatrol, whom uses allen bradley, plc, and components, its designed to teach Programmable logic, and how different sensors are used with logic to complete a cycle, such a Normally open or closed sensors, inductive, capacative, to detect different object metal or plastic even color, implement timers and counters or data register within the controller, and many other things, like handshaking, and servo drives using intelligent function control modules, This is imperative you understand every aspect of this system, along with hydrolic application, pneumatic, to get a start in this feild, there is an extraordinary amount knowledge needed to be a good technician, but most importantly teoubleshooting.
Normally i would suggest SCL which is siemens, after u learn it, u can jump to allen bradley and others. Usually PLC has ladder logic, structure text, function block but i would recommend go ladder logic 1st then structure text, then go any sequence for function block diagram, sequential function chart n instructions list
This is complex. Great effort
That’s a lot of Festo equipment
And Festo ain’t cheap.
That’s cause that’s a festo machine often used to teach students they did not build this
Thats not a robotic arm, that's a cylinder.

final year project? wow ! 😮
Seems expensive to make. Would like to know how much it cost to fabricate and assemble.

عااااش ما شاء الله ❤❤❤
مهندس دمت گرم ، چه چیز فوق العاده ای ساختی
Jadi inget jaman sekolah smk 16 tahun yg lalu.. Alatnya sama persis dari Festo pernah belajar memprogram alat edukasi ini di PLC Festo
That is a festo learning stand, well multible standes 😂😂😂😂
This is Industry 4.0 💥🔥

@@user-qy1ov2xt2pyes this is a industry 4.0 kit
I'm a mechatronics student, and I already done special industry 4.0 course
Love this design. Just learning PLC .
How is it is it fun
Looks nice
We had the same setup at our school, it's a cool setup
AMAZING
Nice! Who made the conveyors?
Wow
❤❤❤
Friend, are there any other products you need to purchase recently?
I also like how to learn
How nice .I wanted this job du you have course
impressive , FPGA or Siemens ?? anyway its looks sharp , but how to get such resources and materiels
MTSU controls lab? Those we are wondering, this is a Siemens and Festo training station for educators.
Ayyyyyy MTSU
omg I want to work with this machine
I want to learn process to create this type of project
they didn’t build this, just programmed. it’s festo pre bought.
how much did it cost to build it?
This is billionaire mindset
Ye i will do....... But not alone i need some assistant.....

Hi brother, what school did you go for this? Thanks!
Its automation
Which software is best for learn plc and also for practice
