I enjoyed tagging along on your adventure. Kayla. I am a retired Nurse. My Mamma earned her RN in 1932. My Grandma was born in 1871. She assisted the Doctor in the community in caring for the ill, injured, surgery patients, new Mothers and their babies. I have my Grandma’s enamel bed pan and fracture pan. They are real treasures.

I LOVE all the Terracotta planters, they are my favorite as well. My Aunt used to have a little train case like the one you bought..the little suit case. She took that thing everywhere she traveled. She carried her makeup, perfume and beautiful handkerchiefs and her Bible in that thing it was Baby Blue...funny how we remember little details like that. I have never been to many places in my life but, one day I hope I can experience Alabama, and all the fine people I have met through this you tube channel. Hey ya'll! Just got back from a two -week visit to Alabama. Rented a truck and drove back to Oklahoma with all kinds of goodies from my great grandparents and great great grandmother. I ❤️ all things old! Wore my t-shirt from Real Nifty Thrifty: "No chips, no cracks, just a little crazing" Lol!

We hit up the Hwy 11 yardsale on Thursday, starting in Springville. We decided that next time we will start in Attalla and go to Fort Payne. Found lots of goodies. Emma Kate’s is my favorite booth store. It’s a goal to eventually move my booth into their store.

Fun video! I remember my Grandmother's egg basket. My Grandmother also had the canister set that Penny got and the Broadman Hymnal was our church songbook when I was a child. I still have a couple of them!❤

I've got one of the little brass mice. I think they are old timey recite holders. You poke a recite down through its tail. I keep mine in the kitchen window. Loved your and aunt Penny's fun hauls!!

Kayla, you have mentioned Oneont in several videos. My daughter lives there and I visited over Easter and now am in love with alabama and The Vintage Market. Ironically I live on Route 11 In Virginia. Can't wait to visit Alabama again.
