This was broadcast in February 1988. 1:36 Prog 527, 20/6/1987 3:21 Marshal Law 2, February 1988 3:25 Marshal Law 1, October 1987 Marshal Law 3 was dated April 1988
The Presenter Paul Thompson was interviewed in the 2000AD Winter Special, December 1988. At the end of the interview it lists several 2000AD creators that he has interviewed . Thanks to Justice’s uploads I’ve seen the Pat Mills/Kevin O’Neill and the Brett Ewins/Peter Milligan interviews but it also says he had Carlos Ezquerra and Dave Gibbons on Night Network….
Hah! You can tell by the host's bluster that the 80's graphic novel revolution had kinda escaped him. Bam! Pow! Cool to see those original Marshal Law pages.
clueless presenter: "can you quickly tell us what are your links with 200AD?" pat mills: "well I started 200AD and I've written most of the lead stories." *shrugs*
Why no attempt at a Halo Jones movie? It would probably be shit of course; such adaptations generally are but, all the same, I'm surprised no-one's tried it yet. Far lesser works have been turned into movies and the general plot and setting of the story is obviously cinematic.
RIP Kevin O'Neill
RIP Kev you will be missed
the original marshal law comic - maybe the greatest comic i ever read

Wouldn't Halo Jones have an American accent?
