@TooSteps”. “Thank you so much for posting the “Chi-Lites”. The guy that is singing lead, was very close friend off mine, I miss him soo much. “Frank Read”, was at my house 🏠 everyday, we would sing 🎤 together, laugh, & cry 😭 together. He was a very nice 👍🏿 man 👨🏾. I was his “hairdresser”, It’s so hard to see him on stage singing & knowing that’s he gone home to be with “TMH YAH”. He knew my whole family, he was my family. My mother died on “Valentines day”, he loved 🥰 my mother dearly. I called “Frank” & asked him would he travel to “Mississippi” with me & sing 🎶 at my mother’s funeral??? “He told me he was “too I’ll to go with me”. Didn’t know he was sick, we talked on the phone 📱almost everyday, & he sounded fine, when I got back to “Chicago” I called him, only to be told by his “roommate” that he had died the night before I came home. I just couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I just started screaming, & saying no, no, no, not “Frank”. I was soo hurt 😢, I lost my “mother” & my best friend/ brother just 2 weeks apart. I went to his “funeral” we attended the same “Church”, he looked so good, he looked like he was “asleep”. “He wrote a “Gospel song”, called “His Servant on this day, they played it at his funeral, so he sung at his own funeral. I miss him so much, I lost 😅 the best friend I ever had. That’s just how close we were, “gone”, but never forgotten, my “ friend/brother. I will see him again one ☝🏿 day, & we will be singing together again. Rip 🪦 until we meet again.❤❤❤❤🎉👨🏾🌺🌺🌺🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🌹🌹🌹😭
That's a very painful memory.
