Heard them tonight Dec 2020.... These dudes got it!!! Still got and look good They look even better now. Lead fellow letting his salt and pepper shone and it 👀 good on him! They all look nice. I know 1 may not be original member but they sound and look awesome💕

Cant hold a candle to Original lead Russell Thompkins jr. He sang every song lead but a couple. The shared lead with Airien Love. Every hit was his voice. Linda Creed and Thom Bell wrote the songs for Russ.
@@Elliecutey He left the group in 2018. Touring here solo in England performing their songs at the moment. Great voice but I'm sure Barrington "Bo" Henderson, who replaced him is very good. He'd have to be to get a place in The Stylistics.
Is that the lead singer? You're right he is superb, he has captured his predecessor Russell's voice, ie the Stylistics' sound, just perfectly. I'm not convinced many vocalists could have matched it as well as he has, a very talented guy - as are they all. Wonderful group, fantastic music, great to see them still hitting it out the park!

Eban Brown was a fantastic replacement for Russell Thompkins Jr. Good tone,ability to climb the vocal ladder and hit the falsetto with ease.I often hear people say that he doesn't sound like Russell but seldom does a replacement sound identical to the original.The people behind the group always try to get someone who sounds as close to the original as possible.It is important for the group to retain their originality.I must say that Eban always brought alot of energy to the group and seemed to have a good rapport with the members.
Missing Eban,he was the best lead singer the group ever had, loved the energy,dance moves, personality,they were all so good together,still wishing them all the best,God bless them all,

Oh to add about van fields i hated that he was always singing in the background but but if you remember he and eban were the newest members and if you really ever heard van sing then you know he can get down with it.

One thing: The lead should just stick to the script. When he goes off into adlibs then goes back into his falsetto, he sounds like karaoke
