Brother how the bike has been? I try to put a slip exhaust on mine and for some reason it was overheating and just drinking the gas and oil i ended up putting the stock back😢
Thanks for sharing! When you “gutted” the secondary cat, I’m assuming that’s not a bolt on bolt off thing?? Are you running to any issues without a tune and no cats?
The secondary cat is at the end of the header pipe and you have to bust it out with a hammer and chisel. It is running a little lean up top but still put down 40hp to the wheel on the dyno
@@Bama_390 The bike sounds incredible. Since you mentioned that the bike is running a bit lean, I suggest you install a "Fuel X Pro +" from RaceDynamics. It will map it accordingly to make the fuel output run more optimum.
@@Bama_390i still have a doubt, there’s a dekat from them, I have the Remus from Ktm catalog , dunno if I should buy the mid pipe (catalyst suppressor) from ixil , they say the catalyst is in the original mid pipe.. is it true? Thank you
@@MrJhobert for me it was a waste of money. Cause it’s like an exaust with catalyst even if you take the db killer out it’s a bad product for me. That’s why I wanna buy this one , cause it doesn’t have that “box” like mine has under and this ixil has a conection between exaust and the other pipe.
Do you have any problem with the bike after you change the exhaust ? I just got mine changed to SC Project and post a picture on my local group and they all said that it will damage the bike unless i use the powerpart from KTM which is remus exhaust that made specifically for this model. Mind sharing your experience ?
It will not damage the bike, it will run slightly lean on the top end. I ran my bike on the dyno and it showed a drop in the power curve up top but still put down 40hp to the ground. Granted this is without a tune completely stock map. It is better to have a tune but as of right now I do not know of any company that has support for our 2024 models.
It comes with one preinstalled and one extra. I’m running without any baffles and secondary cat gutted. I know here in the USA pretty anything you do is for racing only but cops do not care how loud your bike is.
@@Bama_390could you comment on how the baffle looked like? Was it in the slip on or in the pipe? Just got mine in the EU and it has a pretty ugly baffle in the slip on end can and no secondary baffle deliverd with it, so with baffle - do you mean those in the pipe?

Bama, is the second baffle welded into the pipe? I took the removable one out but didn't see a second baffle unless it's the welded piece.

It’s easily removed with a grinder. It has 3 small tack welds to remove
