Ω Hello everyone, this concludes all of my true level 1 no upgrade GMGOW+ boss fights on GOW 2018. I never got a chance to complete this video before Ragnarok came out, now that I’ve finished all the fights I’ve wanted to do in Ragnarok I finally had a chance to do this one. Overall i love Baldur as a boss fight, he has a great moveset and is very aggressive. I don’t like the constant meddling from Freya and Thamur in this final fight but it’s alright. Hardest part of this fight was sitting through the cutscenes as they’re extremely long, they’re no match for my patience though. This will be my last video till Ragnarok NG+ releases, but don’t worry, once GMGOW+ is out for Ragnarok it’s straight back to work for me as ill be fighting all of the bosses level 1 No upgrades once again but on GMGOW+. One thing I really appreciate runs like this that make the character who normally is op at this point and can just destroy bosses at this point in the game is you get to hear all the extra dialogue you normally can't or don't hear because you just flash thew the phases so quickly, thank you so much for allowing us to experience these great scenes and writing and dialogue keep up the good work!
This fight is great. I understand you, how much strength and patience you put into this, because I myself once fought at the first level. I spent ten minutes of continuous combat on Valkyrie Eir to defeat her in this format: [GMGOW+ - Lv.1 - NG+ - No Damage] p.s I used Google Translate partially, but I hope my message is clear to you.
I just beat the game with no upgrades at all or picking up anything on GMGOW Difficulty, I’m on my way to save the game at GNA to do the No freya, No rage, No weapons other than shield to block or shield bash, No damage and melee w shield only
Which makes Level 1 boss battles way more interesting and challenging than Ragnarök. I always felt there's something off for level 1 boss battles in Ragnarök, maybe that's it. But don't forget that Baldur had whole 4 phases with great cinematics and action sequences in between. While Thor had only one phase and Odin two with little going on between them.

Not gonna lie the story is so much good than ragnarok in my opinion and also baldur fight was greater than Odin and Thor even though I don’t have ragnarok Feel kinda bad for him to not feel anything for a lifetime but also at the same time pain in the ass Idk there’s just something I like baldur fight and heimdall fight rather than any other aesir god
Also saw your post on gbg s latest vid and that is a mechanic quivers have to dodge your axe throws and counter attack or were you just talking specifically thor?
@@RAGE-OF-SPARTA-X yeah I’m a dumbass,I was replaying baldur 2 to see what you meant and then I realize you meant thor ha,although I do think thor 1 ai can dodge your axe throws if I’m not wrong.
I gotta go with Thor, i love how he fights, he can switch between using just his fists and using Mjolnir, he also has a great character model with an interesting personality.
Probably not as for GOW 2018 it is impossible to complete the main story without at least some upgraded armor, I suspect Ragnarok will be the same way.
@@RAGE-OF-SPARTA-X pretty sure for no upgrade run plus your allowed to use what the GAME gives you,so that means access to 1 runic attack and blades of chaos. Although I suspect you think it would be wayyy too tedious and unfun(which is true).
@@Omar8181 with those rules every part may be possible util the elevator its impossible to kill the heavy draugrs in time or to throw them off with only 1 runic

Favorite god in raggy? For me thor or heimdall it could be odin but I feel he needed to get the mask to be number 1 since that scene where he reveals to be tyr was wasted potential to not give him it imo still a good villian though.

I kinda still feel bad for Baldur, of his suffering by the curse, even for Freya both of them are manipulated by Odin's madness.

Yup, they gave the bosses way more health on NG+ on GOW 2018
Which makes Level 1 boss battles way more interesting and challenging than Ragnarök.

How did you get the axe to stay at level one? Doesn't the game force you to upgrade it when you first meet Brok?

Good question, on my other ones i used runic attacks and had health upgrades, these ones i have no runic attacks or health upgrades.

How is the axe level 1 because when you first meet Brok, you're forced to upgrade it to level 2.
Start a new game+ when you pass the first fight with Baldur and then you aren’t forced to upgrade the axe
