It started with an idea and with the help of her teacher it will become reality. This reminds me of the Rocket Boys of Coalwood West Virginia where 4 young men. Entered a science fair and won they went on to college and made good. They did not have to ever work in the coal mines again. It did open the doors for others to follow their dreams. Homer Hickam jr became an engineer for NASA the others succeeded as well. Now, this young lady is opening the door regardless of the hardships that one has to bear. So Congratulations Dasia I am in awe of what you have done and will be doing.
The Gates Foundation should support this idea and if they are smart, they should hire her ;) Or a social entrepreneur needs to get inspired by this. Best of luck to her!!
This is exactly what I told my kids. I love hearing about kids like this people like this so I can use as an example for my children to see that they're not just on this Earth to be a part of this dumb generation that there are some children who are just meant to do great things and hopefully mine or one of them.
