@@nottyseel949 scarcity in a gacha game is paramount. They want money, players want good looking pixels so the strategy is to rng gate and time gate (exclusive banners). Giving away 5 stars too easily, as good as it sounds for players, is not smart coming from the makers of this game.
I find it funny that things got so bad we're not complaining about dupes making characters work anymore. I suppose Genshin broke us all.

Id argue verina is pretty futureproof for awhile. Especially end game when we need like 3 teams. Considering how rare supports usually are she'll be relevant for a bit

@jameskang4768 Nearly every beginning character will get powercrept regardless(i would argue it takes supports longer) but mentioning that is kinda of a moot point and doesnt really do or change the fact that end game she will most likely be used. I guess im just arguing semantics

Of the guaranteed 5-star resonators, I'd say Calcharo and Encore are the best options
Verina is still the safest pull meta wise....coz its always recommended to have different teams,and i doubt we will get 2/3 supports back to back,so she will be meta and good for secondary team for a while

very good reminder, so many people have difficulty with saving up the premium currency; it's never a good move to waste them on standard banners, even for a whale. You get so much mileage from limited banners, even moreso in WuWa with the lower pity and guaranteed weapons.
I really want Calcharo so that would be my selector if I don't get lucky first, but any of the others (minus the lion boy lol) would do! A lot of interesting characters and playstyles, can't wait to try them!
Thanks for the tips, this is the only video I'v found that actually gives a good explanation. I personally dislike all character so far, I'll be saving my.. what was it? Asterite? As well. Genshin had taught me a lot. This one looks to be same genshin, just reskinned/renamed.

Back in my genshin days it took me 55+58 levels and 2 years to acquire a Mona. Nice to see that things works here.
Verina seems futur proof too. She heal, buff atk, all dmg, spectroc dmg and just with her outro skill that she charge quickly, in a few secondes. She do a lot things and we need in end game 3 teams so 3 supports like her. Even if she is powercrept for her unversality, she will be BiS in spectro for long time I think (6 months, its common).
She is not so OP/broken/OMG, its exajereted for me, but undoubetly very usefull.
Verina isn't getting powercrept until next year, what he's saying is kinda false since we need more than one team, and getting verina means ur not getting every single support that's going to be released which saves you more pulls
If you pull the 5-star you want from the beginner banner its probably a good idea to save your selector banner for the future when the meta shifts, and other units come out that can enable/make use of the other standard banner characters to great effect (ie: dendro for keqing, Cloud Retainer for Diluc, etc).
If you get lucky on the beginner banner I would actually spend the standard currency on the standdard weapon banner. The sword is way too useful for so many characters and with its crit stats and 5-star scaling it should be pretty future proof.
This game isn't about meta lol. It's skill based lol. Meta maniac lol.

@@imannews5419tbf you need to have good weapons because hologram is a dps check outside of dodging. Even if you can parry attack that won't matter if you don't have damage.
yinlin is so tempting, but I am still stay strong for next banner, and pull for Jinhsi, gonna pull for jinyan for Danjin and free sanhua

Do you know if the pity carries over? If yes then it might be worth to do 20-30 pulls in Jiyan banner trying to get Danjin or Mortefi, because those 20-30 pulls will be transferred to Yinlin banner (which is what i want)

I think in the Livestream they said that the 5star in said banner is only who you choose tho. Because the said " ... Up to 80 pulls" That means that even tho early, as long as 5 star it guarantee who you choose. But let's see what it really is in may 23rd. 😁

I have a question, in order to get the 5 star selector, you need 80 pulls right? Doesn't that mean that there's a chance to get a 5 star during these 80 pulls? So, you can possibly get 3 5stars: 1 from the Beginner's Banner (40 pulls) and 2 from the Standard: at least one from the gatcha itself (60-80 pulls) and another from the selector once you reach exactly 80 pulls. Right? Or is the first 5star locked to be the selector's?

Hoarding might actually be a viable strat in this game because you are piloting the toon. The 4* seem fine for progression. However if you have a toon you want, get it by any means, what's the point of playing if you're not maining the character you're excited for.
Just like how bailu before and later we got huohuo, like how chichi before and later we got kokomi . It's just how it works

Just play and pull for the characters you want. Don't think to much about what might come. I play Genshin and Star Rail Free2Play and have a shitton of characters, I don't even have the time to level and equip them all before I get a new character.

I got Jianxin at 6 pity😭😭 first ever pull in wuwa and then the electro guy I forget how to spell his name(Calchiro or smt?) at 15 pity on the choice banner.. I was so surprised cuz I never/rarely get lucky in gacha games
