I've always loved the Barbie Extra style articulation, it's just enough for some great poses. Defa Lucy is definitely a fun doll, really loving her artsy style on this doll.
She's really one of my favorite Barbies I own now. These dresses are really gorgeous in person especially. I bought one not expecting them to be so well made but they are and I've ordered 3 total now in different colors.
Good comparison video! I don’t usually keep the pets, but definitely am keeping that egg! Reminds me of the smaller eggs from the Lego Elves sets. Btw, there is a darker skin tone Defa Lucy doll if you’re interested in getting her to try that outfit on

Loved this vid and your energy! New subscriber. I'm a Barbie stan but I do admit to 11 Defa Lucy's and 2 more on the way. Generally for me the lack of pixilation and quality of clothes is much better than what we are getting lately.

@@BearlyUnboxed You can! I have transitioned several Defa Lucy's to made to move bodies! I can't stand flat feet (like the movie). The only difficulty is defa need to be really placed in hot water up to the face (not the hair) to get the head off. Not as easy as with Barbie to Barbie but they do fit on the made to move body.
I see a lot of people hating on the pizza purse (online, in other reviews), but I honestly think it's cute 😭I would absolutely walk around carrying that. Okay, okay, they're both so cute! I love the faces on the Defa Lucy dolls. I love both of their outfits in appearance, I'm surprised at how cohesive that Barbie Extra is.
The pizza purse is so unique, it's the one thing that stands out for her, the rest of her outfit is so cohesive as you said. I'm definitely a fan of Defa Lucy now!
